Still very cool style to watch, MVP has their own distinctive way of playing DotA and you can't knock em for that

It's a good point you raise that MVP won't be playing in these mid-tier tournaments when Fnatic is taking all the qualifiers by storm. But if MVP can keep consistent in Majors/TI and reach that key top 6 position and qualify by default, they'll probably keep their success in the big tournaments if we're going by recent showings. Fnatic's issue is that they can qualify, but still have yet to translate their qualifier success to a win or really impressive result.

They are a team that still almost always relies on QO having a good game and their team fighting even though he fixed his terrible problem of not tilting as hard and throwing the game. Still very cool style to watch, MVP has their own distinctive way of playing DotA and you can't knock em for that well i'm just going to comment that practically any team does this. 1 position scales as best as possible, then 5v5 often occurs as though the longer the game gets, so does that sort of critical mass. people forget their NP games (or games where they had their NP banned almost every game), bounty, and rather split-pushy style. i think it's all due to how they tend to take control of the game and try to end as soon as possible. you learn a lot more from those games than you do from playing absolutely safe and drafting to bank on a good opportunity arises with spectre follow-ups. can they play ember games? ya. they practiced specifically for those and do it often on mmr games. can they play naga or PA games and draft for that? i guarantee it. are they playing alch veno games like wings? i mean sort of lol. they made slardar veno work, right? let that sink in. the only thing i haven't seen them do is play a wyvern/dazzle style and the crazy thing is, it could still work, at least that's what it seems to me.

But I'm really curious to see them at TI in a huge group stage. The Meta shifts alone might be their biggest worry.

i'm completely guilty of not watching their games all the way through with their new roster, with the times (right now an example), and... i don't know, maybe i'm just overstressing how boring it is to me. so far their average game length has been over 40m a pop, if i haven't missed some stomps this past day. granted, atleast a couple of them (i think 3) were AM games that started with vanguard (and i'm not even going to try to comment on that), which drags out the game a little by little, in a perfect world situation. i'll try to pay full attention to this next set, but sincerely hope they don't go past 40m each as well at least without some entirely new picks.

Plus, Vega likes to throw really curveball drafts at EG, which occasionally works. I say that, but it's still Lower Bracket EG. Knocking EG out in an elimination match is brutally hard.
