in full honesty, i'm hoping for a different direction from the way EG have been playing their games.
i'm completely guilty of not watching their games all the way through with their new roster, with the times (right now an example), and... i don't know, maybe i'm just overstressing how boring it is to me.

so far their average game length has been over 40m a pop, if i haven't missed some stomps this past day.
granted, atleast a couple of them (i think 3) were AM games that started with vanguard (and i'm not even going to try to comment on that), which drags out the game a little by little, in a perfect world situation.

i'll try to pay full attention to this next set, but sincerely hope they don't go past 40m each as well at least without some entirely new picks.

ya how dare they win

i know U are an EG fan even bfore that comment, lol.

i was worried that they'd drop to the bottom two teams in this tournament, t-spirit and e-wolves

Goblak basically drafted stupidly hard to kill line-ups. The way to beat them was to drag it late. That's not on EG's play but on the way people are drafting against them right now. Plus, they're not drafting push line-ups. They could have closed out some of the games a little faster, but an extra 5 minutes of farming is worth the lower risk when going highground.

that's just great then.
let's hope other teams respect them a little more (or respect less) then.
something fresh, let's see something out of the playbooks they prepared for this tournament.
makes the first game all the more important.

Haven't seen much EG's play but this iteration of EG is god damn boring. The irony where EG starts going full greed after RTZ left.

so with the new pipe destroying magic damage only drafts now everyone drafts physical damage - WW is #1 pick?

I'm happy to see Sumail back on a DPS-carry. Though that has a whole lot to do with 6.86 than the team composition.

And EG have been ridiculously greedy in their drafting, in most games, since TI5. They've just used more push-strats based around Drow to keep teams honest.

i remember that one time they put sumail on safelane axe. actually they might have done it twice in total.
hey, let's see it aui do it haha.

if they jungle it again (if not banned) there must be some trial and error reached to value it so highly as 4, aside from what can be seen or felt.

You haven 't seen much EG yet say they're boring? Have you not watch their last game vs Team Spirit? I don't know what's boring about that game at all. EG looked boring today because they completely stomped E.Wolves. So far EG is looking stronger as the tournament goes on.

I remember they put Sumail in the safelane a lot in 6.85. I remember his safelane Timbersaw was legit.

Safelane Timbersaw was murdering people left and right. I'd have loved to see it more, but it was noticeable after they got into 6.86 that they weren't doing much role-swapping (minus one time they switched Safe & Offlane when they had Universe on Lone Druid). That really constrained their strategic leverage. And probably portended the eventual split up.

really cant tell if the lag is me or the stream. All other streams dont seem to be lagging, but this one lags bad on chrome and less bad but still bad on firefox.

Have you setup your config file for LiveStreamer properly? Toss me a PM if you need help.

for livestreamer after it has been installed, including all instructions:
windows key or start menu,
run, enter
"livestreamer http://twitch.tv/beyondthesummit best" without quotations
replace best with worst/medium/best
command prompt will come up and say it has found the plugin, then auto-run VLC or whatever the default was set to and play the stream.
when you close the command prompt, stream will close and vice versa.

It's likely the config file isn't pointing to VLC properly, if he's having problems.
