They were in a bad spot, getting outfarmed, they needed those pickoffs even if they didn't "quite have the items" because they couldn't afford to wait and let liquid keep farming, but since they were already behind, they failed those pickoff attempts. Which is what tends to happen when you're behind. Not saying that better play couldn't have turned things around, but losing further when you're already in a bad spot is not trying hard to lose, or being on the verge of defeating the enemy team if only.. Hell, while mistakes were made, liquid's fighting was also pretty sloppy--like that fight before the am almost died, they lose one hero because of chasing into radiance burn and am himself was living life on the edge, which looks awesome when it works, but would've been lulzy if he died. suddenly, alliance have the items they need to be able to get picks, and liquid can't do anything but 5man any longer But for alliance to get those items while keeping liquid down, they needed some pickoffs in the first place, but they only ever got the furion. In the larger fights the trades were always bad, because they were already behind from the lost laning. the naga starts punishing the 5man heavily, and alliance are commanding the pace of the game again "If they would've stopped losing, they would've started winning" Essentially my issue here is that you're not giving liquid any credit, and seem more like a disgruntled alliance fan who pins the loss entirely on his team's performance, because "they should/would have won if only they weren't losing."

Sound management that would terrify the NASL sound guy. One BO3 in six hours. Multiple streams constantly breaking. Bad soundproofing in the booths. It has been a horror show.
