His nerfs were not nearly bad enough to warrant him falling out of the meta it just made his annoyance factor near rosh less severe It'll be more popular as we get into the tournament. At the moment, it's either early push/aggression or harder Late-game setups. And expect EG to abuse that they can play it both Mid & Safe Lane.

This is hearsay, but don't Chinese pros don't play in pubs and play primarily in CDEC In-house? Look at MVP they play in China pubs when Chinese teams don't wanna scrim them. Western players spam pubs. Look at this: http://www.dotabuff.com/players/101450083/activity http://www.dotabuff.com/players/93119769/activity http://www.dotabuff.com/players/88933594/activity And then this: http://www.dotabuff.com/players/101695162/activity http://www.dotabuff.com/players/113800818/activity http://www.dotabuff.com/players/90882159/activity The difference is pretty obvious. holy fuck china dissing pubs

These kind of tournaments have their own meta develop, and rightly so. Meta is only meaningful, if you are ahead of it. EG's a team that studies the meta and beats it. VG (post TI4 VG) does that as well, to a less degree. Teams like Secret, CDEC, OG and Alliance are ones that set the meta and ride it as far as they can.

When you lose, you are likely to change things up, while winning you are not. That is one of the problems with the comeback mechanics of the formats, where winners are often punished in the end. Last time it was OG, that went all the way through lower. And in MDL it was EG that avenged a 2-0 loss to OG.
