I mean in football terms your team could be Barcelona and even then its hard to win a team like arsenal when you start every game 0-3 down. with the current Barcelona, you'd need to make it 0-6 or something because Arsenal is so gonna get murdered at Camp Nou.

You guys might be onto something. This is hearsay, but don't Chinese pros don't play in pubs and play primarily in CDEC In-house?
Look at MVP they play in China pubs when Chinese teams don't wanna scrim them. Western players spam pubs.

Well, Arsenal managed to beat Bayern away from home after losing at home in the group stages, as far as I remember. Maybe it was City last year.

maybe chinese pubs are too good. 8k+ mmr in NA is actually 10k mmr in china

speaking of why china isn't doing well, where is xiao8? is he going to do his normal "I'm retired until I get a $1m signing bonus"

The only thing that vici got going for them, is their white jacket. It looks sick

The sooner you find what suits you the better, and the more strings you have to play on, the less likely are you to be cornered.
Meta is only meaningful, if you are ahead of it.

MVPs advantage is that they have a plethora of source material of their opponents, while no one cared to look at them. It is like when few had any source material on Chinese scene or it was very scarce, while the Western scene had it in abundance, making it much easier to map styles/strategies of said teams. PPD did much of the same, when EG did fuck all, while EU played all the time.

holy fuck china dissing pubs

Why isn't Sylla picked anymore? His nerfs were not nearly bad enough to warrant him falling out of the meta it just made his annoyance factor near rosh less severe

Well, Team Spirit is in the "if we can't beat Alliance, we'll just BE Alliance" mode.
