I might be wrong but isn't Fnatic's only international tournament that 2-1 loss to Secret in New York? I don't think they've actually played any other matches with the current squad to my knowledge.
He is referring to Fnatic vs Secret at TI5 and at SL12 as well probably, but that doesn't seem that relevant given how much the teams have changed. But I can't really recall how exactly the games went at SL12 and TI and whether there was something specific in the way the teams draft or play which would somehow make Fnatic better against Puppey's teams than one would think based on their success against other teams. Of course Puppey wasn't drafting at SL12 and TI though.
In this specific game I think Secret just drafted a very unforgiving lineup, if they don't do well in lanes and snowball after I don't think there was much they could do. And their lanes weren't stronger either.

I went to sleep after the first few games, any VoDs worth watching?

bo2 for points is still such an unsatisfying format T_T

DC versus anyone is a good way of watching hopes and dreams crumble right before your eyes.

They do that not only when they lose, but also when they win. Didn't they beat Ehome, thereby ending Ehome fans' hopes for their team?

Mineski can advance still with a 2-0 of VG, which is actually pretty cool. If they bring their A-game I can see them getting it. If they can't win, then they are gone. On the other side of that group, unless CDEC manages a 2-0 of VP or Liquid it'll be VG, VP, and Liquid fighting for that top spot.
Other group is exactly the same scenario: DC needs to 2-0 Fnatic or they are eliminated. I think that's a lot less likely than Mineski's chances. Winner is almost assured of being lower bracket unless something really weird happens (Two other teams would have to lose 2-0 to another, and then draw each other). Otherwise, we're gonna see a bloodbath for the top 2 spots (and it's a shame, because the 3 best teams in the tournament might be in the same group).
Excited to see Fnatic play today. They look great as long as they don't lose the drafting phase, but they lose the draft very often. They need a coach really badly.

Haven't seen Liquid play yet, pretty excited for tonight.

With the patch maturing it has been pretty fun to watch these matches. All these Ursa and Huskar picks. Good ol Sea and CIS doto throwing everywhere too. Fucken Mineski...
