For example Misery and PLD were close to getting early kills top lane, instead barely gave away first blood (and further kills later?). Misery's game went pretty quick down the toilet. It's really easy for Fnatic to teamfight when almost all they have to do is to just concentrate on the Meepo. If Secret did even slightly better in lane Misery can be an annoying guy in front with EE throwing shackles and then w33 can better choose his time to jump. Now Fnatic managed to prevent Secret from snowballing completely and then it's really hard for Secret to really accomplish much, their teamfight is mediocre and they can't really splitpush against the Invoker running around either. game always feels super hard for secret whenever misery gets off to a bad start, it seems like they have trouble finding a way for him to recover but strategically it felt like they were just outpicked that game as well, couldn't 5v5 and had inferior split push/pick potential as well

Yeah if Fnatic takes 1 game then DC is out.

Also their safelane wasn't really crushing either as far as I recall, they did fine but they can't really prevent Fnatic from getting xp and farm as well. WR is also not really a hero that you can somehow create massive amount of space with, they even hit a few nice shackles to win some fights but then the game stabilizes after that smoke again and Fnatic has really no pressure on them. I agree the draft was an issue at least the way the game went, I was mostly wondering whether the lane needed to go that way. Secret has a very strong lineup for early skirmishing too if they do even a bit better, and if the Meepo gets ahead I don't know if it even matters that he is "countered", but he never really got going. But obviously it's not really ideal anyway if you are overly reliant on lanes and your lanes aren't even really that dominant.

Secret on top of Group B, tied with Ehome and LGD. DC is the only team that's failed from the West up to now.

Feels like they always play 1-1 when they meet in group stages even though Fnatic's performance is often far below Secret against all other teams. I might be wrong but isn't Fnatic's only international tournament that 2-1 loss to Secret in New York? I don't think they've actually played any other matches with the current squad to my knowledge.
