If they can improve further until The Summit they might even do well against top teams there.
And I am so happy to have both Liquid and DC at the Summit. After the Major qualifiers I really felt stupid being a fan of both teams.

To be fair, i think TI > Major quals is such a short amount of time in past years that we wouldn't have even thought it was a reasonable measurement.

Well, regardless of how DC's form is, Root seems to be imploding. What a terrible start.
Edit: As I write that, Yawar dies.
|
This has to be one of the fasted Bo3's I've ever seen. DC just utterly demolished Root. Both games combined didn't even break 40 minutes.
|
It also helps that DC's competition just seems to be imploding. HCWP already disbanded, c9 seems to be on a downhill spiral after MLG, and not sure if coL can use their current lineup long term. As far as I understood Chessie still isn't really able to fully play. If I had to bet I would bet on c9 disbanding after the major, they seem to be on the trajectory to the good old 1. look promising online, 2. go to your first LAN, bomb out and lose faith in the team, 3. start to do poorly online as well, 4. disband.
I suppose Archon is still around.

This game is not going well for Alohadance

Resolution sure does love his bounty pick, but christ it never works lol

Last pick huskar babyrage.

HR v GB is gold. HR had their beastmaster dc and the others are taking turns microing him
4v5 and they are actually winning
EDIT: But they lost and forfeited game 2

This is actually embarrassing. This pqmz co caster is arguing to the death that windrun completely blocks omnislash when that is 100% false. Where do they even find these people? This isn't even some weird mechanic that nobody knows the answer to this is a common lane matchup in pubs across all levels of mmr.

Let's go Liquid, my body is ready for a stomp.
Edit: first phase Io ban, it's learning! O_O
Btw weird that Liquid picks up Viper over Razor now.
Kuro praised Fata on being able to pick him anything yet he's the one that plays the same heroes most often.

well fata owns with viper too, so who cares;) i think it also has to do with playing what works best for them, and maybe saving strats for lan tournaments.
|
He's 50% with Viper while he was like 80% with Razor. Plus I feel his Razor scaled much better than his Viper did.
Do they have any LANs?
|
well he only had 4 viper games, and much more with razor. about the scaling im not sure. when you build him like fata did he is relevant in the lategame. s&y, ac, heart, pretty good stuff. what i really wanted to say about the draft, i think they save other strats against stronger opponents. but who knows what kuro thinks.
|
Yeah I guess he has too little games on Viper too make conclusions on how well he scales. These commentators are kind of unknowledgeable I feel btw. Clock having a hard time? When clock can hit creeps and not die he's in amazing shape :D
CS on par with the midlaners even!
I love how they just get 6 and take all tier 1 towers!
Matumbaman going in when FATA is split pushing top and getting rekt, I've seen that movie before.
|
yeah i agree on the casters, although i think the dude is worse then her. but good stuff from liquid, just what i expected.
|
Yeah they're owning. Jerax Tusk so good.
|
yup, this is over
