A few USA chants are fine but please don't do it too much.

Stop the stupid USA arguments, thanks.

On another note, CDEC flairs are now live. Sorry about the delay on that.

How is West not > China when the West win all the tournaments? I don't understand how you want to play this. Just because Secret failed this year, West < China? Even when China loses yet another tournament? What?

How about "EG is a good team and so are CDEC, LGD and VG"?

They are, and so are Secret, Virtus Pro, etc.

But at the end of the day, one group of these win tournaments, another don't.

EG, LGD, Secret and VG...?

Win international tournaments with the best teams there.

Short list of teams that won international tournaments with the best teams there after Spring shuffle:

1. Secret.

2. End of list.

Which is why Americans aren't the best team in the world... Unless they win this tournament.

Confirmed Azarkon will say Chinese are the best in the world if CDEC wins.

We're holding you to this.

I already said I'm going to.

Natus Vincere in 2013. Had they not made it, it'd have been one Western team against three Chinese/Eastern teams, same as 2015.

There is big difference between Chinese and Eastern team, bro.

Which is fine but for the fact you're not even looking at MVP.

Yes, i absolutely ignored SEA vs China in my stats, because that's out of point. Also, where is your MVP top 3 or something?

Why do you have to put them in groups except to boost your point of arguements? Puppey is in Team Secret, not Team Estonia; Iceiceice is in Team VG, not Team Singapore; Fear is in Team EG, not Team USA.... etc etc etc.

this is actually why i hate any form of WB advantage in the finals.

if you play two sets, the first set loses a lot of its meaning when the team from the lower bracket is ahead. the games become less interesting when they dont change anything and just give us more meaningless games.
if you give a one map advantage and the team from the upper bracket wins the first game, game 2 and 3 lose all meaning if the team from the lower bracket is ahead or wins.

And at the same time you look at it from the other way around and you see a team from winners bracket never lose and then they never get a safety net like the lower bracket team thus even though the lower bracket team lost the same amount of sets they are the grand champions.

Takes any meaning from the championship. Having to have the loser's bracket claw at it and earn it through the advantage - THAT is a story and a hype moment.

If you do that in a format like DotA where the Bo#s are pretty low (3 and 5) then you're almost always making the Winner Bracket Finale the tournament finale.

If both teams are entirely even in skill then the one from the LB will only win 25% of the time which is incredibly anti-hype that 75% of the time they win.

Even worse even if the WB bracket team is worse because the # of games is so low they still have a really high chance of winning because the loser bracket team's skill won't necessarily come through in such a small sample size.

Fighting games and the like can get away with WB advantage because you're often playing like a bo5 of bo3 which is way more games.

Like said when I first responded to you. Their safety net is not having to play extra sets. How is this hard to see?

TI2 is the only time the WB finalist lost in the Grand Finals, and the one time they did, it was 3-1 anyway. For all the hubbub people make about no WB advantage, it hasn't really made a difference.

Also, was not it working out in a way that TI2 schedule had LGD play 2 series in a row, Navi having a break between LB and GF and iG having like 1 game that day? Or was iG vs DK first match of final TI2 day?

iG played DK, LGD, and Na'Vi all in one day. I heard that YYF was vomiting in between matches.

Well, thankfully for them Navi went full retard in finals.

Na'Vi didn't go full retard, they lost because their selection of pocket Naga counters got figured out and they had absolutely nothing else left in the tank vs iG.

Navi did go full retard that series actually, if you re-watch it now. Hell, Navi were the ones picking Naga in 3/4 games as well (that was almost hilarious seeing Naga being first ban whole tournament getting last picked by Navi in game 1).

How did they go full retard? At the time, iG had better players on positions 1 through 5 who could play all the top heroes of the TI2 meta while Navi's drafts were severely restricted by XBOCT not knowing Morphling, Dendi not knowing TA or DK, Puppey being lackluster on any non-junglers, etc.

Watch game 1: wasted song by XBOCT and 0 heroes sonic wave by Dendi were the absolute highlight of that for me.

Then ArsArt failing to zone bear resulting in easiest offlane of YYF's life.

Then nyx pick by Puppey and general play in that last game.

Because that's the way it is? Do people not say "Koreans win" when MVP wins? Do people not say "Chinese win" when CDEC wins? The West is one because its teams don't care about getting people only from the same country. Therefore, one says "the West wins" when Western teams win.

It doesn't take any meaning from the championship in my opinion. How are we going to decide who's right and wrong?

Also, you as a SC2 fan should know what winner's bracket advantage makes for pretty shitty finals when the WB team wins a game. Valve, considering that, decided to give no advantage to the team coming from the WB. So now we have two options: either we make a single elimination tourney or we make a double elimination with no advantage to the WB team.
Which do you think teams prefer?
