His ult was "fixed" so you can hit with all the waves now if you stand right on top of the target. The euls build after that was pretty much a matter of course.

Yeah I suppose, but I actually like the way the lineup works. They can burst down a stunned hero, but it's not really that huge of an investment. Like sure you spend the battle trance and maybe gush or something, but it's not like you're blowing nukes or something. If the enemy team jumps in they'll eat a ravage and then be stuck against a bunch of strong right click heroes. It just feels like LGD can jump in, stun someone, and just sort of say "alright this person is going to die and we dare you to do something about it"

IMO, euls has been buffed slightly for a bunch of patches as its CD has been reduced. Recently the recipe cost got upped from 500->650 but its still cost effective. The game has become more centered on skirmishes in midgame instead of lots of static farming and split pushing. As such, Euls is great because it can be built quickly and gives you offensive and defensive capabilities. It's great for disrupting stuns and disables and also for SF its good at setting up your spells/combos. You can euls and position yourself to ult right on the target when they fall, sorta like Invo or Lina, etc. Personally, I still don't favor Euls on SF but it's definitely a build to consider. Also, EG played that last fight really fucking well. Deserved victory...
