What's the relation? You can watch ingame without compediums, you can get items in streams.

Compendiums come with the DotaTV ticket? Yes you can get it without a compendium but it's the same price if I'm not mistaken and it comes with 0 of the benefits a compendium does. How is that hard to understand?

Literally everyone that has Dota is able to watch ingame in the client. You don't need tickets.
