finish the Na'Vi vs iG series. And EHOME vs Orange.

I agree with this, both series were great

What did IG captain say?

Looking at the way iG played Game 3, and then vs. Ehome, they were frustrated to hell by that game.

I heard Zhou was still flustered during the Ehome game and missed half his CS because of it.

Was just watching the Ig vs Navi game 2 replay.

The fight at 22 mins at the ig mid rax. Dendi steals ravage, then blinks in the completely wrong direction and does a fail ravage.

If you watch the fight from his play perspective, it looks like he targets his blink directly in the middle of the fight, but it blinks in totally the wrong direction. Weird.

He probably double-tapped. If you double-press Blink Dagger, it blinks in the direction of your fountain.

I think he means with respect to being outpicked. It's easy to say the other side was outpicked when you win the game.

That said, Zhou doesn't even do the drafts for iG. Faith does.

afaik

Force staffed when naga broke the ulti. He avoided Ravage all together, then came back in the fight after tide pop'd it and was caught in the black hole.

^ Point is that Puppey is hardly objective in this situation.

Synderen's or someone's opinion would be interesting.

Does this happen if his keyboard bugged out and doubletapped by accident?

Um they didn't outpick them <.<

ofc they did ...

That Yunero + enigma + rubick was to counter Naga siren lol ...

Enigma rushed bkb and Yunero got vanguard to not die in 1 shot ...

Naga uts... Navi has 2 heroes imunes and Enigma is one of them... they are all stacked up so Spin + Blackhole + Steal Ravage ...

That was obvius, because the only other way of playing these heroes were to push early ... they didnt until enigma had BKB and yunero had enough farm..

The sad thing about all this is that had iG been a bit smarter, which I thought they were with an experienced captain ala Zhou, all they had to do to 'counter' Puppey's pick was to get a VS / Beast.

There was a time when Enigma was perma picked / banned. Then teams started picking heroes with ults that go through BKB to stop his black holes - iG just needed one of these heroes, and then Na'Vi's plan goes out the window.

I think thats the only problem with Chinese teams ..

They dont have a puppey that can pick Pudge, like last year, or Yunero...These heroes change how not only your team playes but everyone and Chinese teams are not use to it...

Thats why for me Puppey + LoH won them the series.

Wow I did not realize the prize difference between first place and second place... that's just insane (250 000 vs 1million ).
Really hoping that Navi will be in the finals, it would be the scenario that gives the most hype and make for the crowd go insane I feel ( being the defending champion and only team challenging the chinese dominance).

Naga would've been perfect for iG the third game, but puppey was right in iG's head and knew they wouldn't dare pick her.

While Na'vi's picks against IG were great, I'm not convinced that it was Navi that outpicked them as much as it was IG choking and making some major mistakes over and over again.

iG's teamfight weakness is enigma, note how vs EG and Na'Vi they didn't respect the black hole. 430 played bad today but honestly he wasnt given the tools to take over the early-mid game -- puck wasnt very useful against na'vis lineup and a lot of the games have been so aggressive on tinker in TI2 that the hero often doesnt get any time to get rolling before teams lose, resulting in a 35% winrate so far.

going into the actual TI2 people thought LGD was less versatile than iG, but while iG has very talented players they seem to be reluctant to get out of their comfort hero picks, as evidenced in these later rounds. i think beastmaster will become one of the more important heroes to think about in these final rounds.

Yeah, I thought it was pretty interesting to reflect that last year (maybe not exactly last year, but a while back) Enigma was a really common pick / ban and everyone made sure to pick something that could cancel the blackhole. Now there are a lot more powerful heroes in the pool that are getting a lot more attention, and Na'Vi's Enigma pick goes uncountered.

Doesnt naga ensnare goes through bkb and interrupt channeling spell?

They didn't have to pick VS/BM.

I think that is why that terrible fight was for IG was attributed to Zhou being overconfident. He should stay away from enigma while sending his illusions. That would have been enough.

That's not to say that it was not brilliant by Dendi and LoH though. Just saying that IG kinda messed it up a little bit.

I'm pretty sure they didn't know that he had a BKB. A BKB that fast is not very common, and they wouldn't have grouped up like that expecting to gib enigma when it would favor enigma in that situation to get his bkb off over tide hitting the ravage first. Tide has to play it safe so as not to hit while siren is still on. They would also have no reason to be overconfident. They were losing that game at that point and that was somewhat of a desperate smoke to make something big happen in a team fight to turn it in their favor.

i believe it does, but having your song initiator be the one that has to cancel the black hole, i think can be very risky.
