AL is..... underestimated.
AL is running a no carry full gank line-up vs. carries. They know the position they're in.

Also if you notice: M5 and Mouz are 2 most russian oriented dota, play blind without wards and solely rely on their personal skill with lack of coordination.

As many of stated various times, Na'vi had a big advantage going into the first TI. The 2nd TI, even at their best form they would have a tough time here, as everyone is just simply better, and they've prepared more (along with the fact that the meta doesn't favor the heavy aggressive style of Na'vi as we've seen; most of the successful teams have been playing a methodical slow push style that relies on good teamfights). Not to mention, I said it before. The Asian scene is just on a whole different level. Im curious what kind of advantage did they have? Was it just the Chinese didn't take it seriously? There was alot of shuffling of players around teams right before the International, and DK/LGD didn't even show up (passport issues due to last minute notice). Apparently the Chinese players didn't even know the prize pool was that big, and the metagame was heavily favoring EU style of play. The EU players not only got the game before the Chinese/Asian players, Na'vi in particular had a more stable team overall than anyone else that showed up. People wanted to call it excuses, but it's pretty much the flat out truth. Now that the Chinese have had proper time to adapt and prepare for DotA 2, we can pretty much see that the Chinese (along with the Asian teams like Orange and to a lesser degree Zenith) are flat out on a totally different level, especially LGD and iG. Also, there was a bunch of arrogant talk from alot of the EU players in a couple of interviews if you didn't notice, and apparently it seems they got abit complacent thinking that just because they could beat the Chinese players online (they have god awful internet when connecting to the outside world; most of the time they lost online competitions in DotA 1) they could also do it pretty easily on LAN. As evidenced to the first two days so far, it's pretty apparent that when the Chinese/Asian players aren't playing at a massive ping disadvantage, they are definitely a few levels above a large majority of the EU/NA teams. The Chinese were also told that it was a carbon clone of dota and were utterly perplexed about the hero pool (2 of the top 10 played heroes in China were in the game) and a huge difference in details in the engine

DK gave LGD a run for their money in one of the games, it's not that they are invincible by any stretch of the imagination. Orange could probably give LGD a good series too if they play well. All the Chinese/SEA teams can beat one another, it's just that together as a whole they are like on a totally different planet. It's like they literally play a different game (which in all honesty, isn't that far from the truth; their meta is completely different from the EU/NA meta and IMO is better, just my opinion though) On August 28 2012 05:58 Kupon3ss wrote: Show nested quote + On August 28 2012 05:47 superstartran wrote: On August 28 2012 05:43 BackSideAttack wrote: On August 28 2012 05:41 superstartran wrote: On August 28 2012 05:38 Jakkerr wrote: Ugh Na'vi what's wrong with you guys this tournament ![]() If only they would have practiced as hard as the other teams.
