Yeah, makes me lol, all these new casters and players being surprised that dendi is getting owned by an "unknown"
player who was in fact top3(including the chinese) solo for like half a decade.

too young to know where YaphetS came from

Its yamateh, yaphets different player.

That's why he said "where YaphetS came from".

Not implying they're the same player.

LOL... read my sentence carefully... YaphetS learned how to play SF from Yamateh and then surpass him... As i said, most of you dont know much bc you came in dota too late.

thats a bold claim, in dota1 the SEA teams had nothing on the chinese, i find it hard to find a place for him in a top solo list

Yamateh and Mushi were always on par with the best Chinese solos. But in overall strategy and understanding of the game SEA was behind China. There's a difference between individual skill and team skill.

Orange was the only team that could defeat Ehome in a tournament final when Ehome was godlike, so yes, they had something on the chinese at least.

it is bc you watch it at the wrong period. around 2007 2008 when kunka was introduced 2 side pretty much 50 50. Starboba and Kingsurf MY dominating chinese would not be to hard to find... Later on when the pinoy dota start growing, the average skill got way lower and people thought SEA dota is bad.

He said half a decade. China scene started quite late in Dota 1 as well. If you read interviews of all these Chinese players when they started out, you will find that most of them idolized sea players like iceiceice, yamateh, mushi.

I think Chinese conservative plays ( or should i say very organized )also were initially largely modelled after XCN who were arguably the best team in the world 2007-2008.

Dat gank in M5 vs Zenith - Tide, Prophet and DS vs Leshrac nearly fails, they manage to kill him, but all die in the process as Rubick and Morphling appear. XD

Edit: Leshrac dies again, again taking everyone else with him thanks to his edict.

The Chinese have never been significantly better than sea in soloing and Laning, the Chinese superiority over sea has alway come from superlative organization, coordination, and game vision compared to the pubby gank and throw style of sea, i thought zenith has the chance to outgrow that and become a world class team
When in doubt, just believe in yourself and press buttons
