He dominates most 1v1 lanes and has a free orchid plus a ult that's a guarenteed kill on nearly any immobilized target. But he's obviously very situational, being squishy and having no escape mech. Kinda like OD. Teams are experimenting to see how to fit him in. | ||

Overall, I'm glad to see Dignitas actually win a series for once... they have been playing pretty pisspoor lately. This series wasn't any different sadly though  SM is a great Hero imo, and NA'VI is the only team playing him correctly though. Putting him in a support role is bad. He is stupid squishy and needs levels. Game 1 was not really an accurate judge. The BM, SM combo is nice, but Dignitas played really bad in terms of decision making and had no coordination (they had a stand-in). That comob against a team playing well(with the right draft), won't work, because SM can easily give first blood and provides very little beyond nukes in the early game. (slow yes but in try lane he'll be leveling like shit). Imo, you have to farm the SM, and he dominates the mid role. If he is able to keep from being ganked, get a fast arcanes and an ATOS (or force staff depending on how good/bad he's farming. ATOS is best because of int gain, life and slow. solves his squishiness and mana). His animation is terrible, and slow travel time, but I think he'll fall off from tier 1 pick but I think we'll see him alot. Especially when the next balance patch comes up (which I think is probably since TI3 is coming, all these new heroes. I expect AT LEAST a big increase in the cooldown for RP, (maybe PL nerf, but he seems to have fallen by the wayside). | ||
