To be honest it was nicer than watching vods. It felt so much more personal. waaaghtv casts that needed to be synched like all 5 minutes it is alot more relaxed now though ^_^

As for casters and casting style, it depends on who is casting imo. 2009 can easily get away with it because he knows what he's talking about, and you will gain a lot of insight about the little things and details. Western casters lack the knowledge and experience to call out pro players on mistakes though. They might be right sometimes, but then they're wrong a lot of the time and it's just stupid and annoying then. I feel they should just leave that to their co-caster for the most part and just focus on play-by-play etc. What could naix possibly do against Skywrath? He'd get slammed to hell and back and back to hell and back again. And why is that? Tree's armor is global, that's kind of the point of the spell anyway. And Naix skills are very good against SM. He can use Rage to dodge nukes and is way harder to gank thanks to it (well, Tree didn't die to that Rubick gank but it was close as hell, could've gone either way). He can also slow and rightclick him which will deal tons of damage against a 0 armor hero.

It's definitely awkward when a caster is criticizing a player and they're straight up wrong, not sure about this exact situation cause I wasn't listening to the cast at the time. There's definitely a difference between a pro player(or a caster like 2009) criticizing a player and a caster with less game knowledge criticizing a player though.
I did find it a bit weird to hear Lumi disagreeing with EE a fair amount though. More generally, it's weird to me when a caster starts making predictions while casting with a pro, seems to me like the whole reason the pro is there is to make those predictions/explain the finer details of what's going on while the caster casts..

Not liking this Luminous/Eternal Envy casting. Both of them are way too aggressive and opinionated.

Interesting to see Skymage getting picked fairly often now in West. I hope it stays this way and expands. Cool hero.

This was such a pain in the ass D: Lumi makes commentaries with EE for his YT channel all the time. There's like 15 of them, and they're arguing about stuff all the time. :D I like watching it, but I agree that you need different standards for a live broadcast.

I hope they hire Winter to cast everytime he isn't playing. I hope it happens in TI3 as well.
Are they allowing re-make?
