baron procs a debuff that makes you take more magic damage and also still inevitably does a lot of damage (even when everyone is lvl 18), so it's a lot easier for an enemy team to contest a baron since they have an advantage going into a fight like that.
roshan dies in like 3 seconds at that point and since they can't have vision inside the rosh pit and they were getting dewarded so hard, it's really hard to know exactly when they should move out because 1) they could get ambushed along the way and 2) if they accidentally contest it a second too late then theyre fighting a team that has their carry with aegis + cheese (not to mention moving into a small space vs a team with refresher enigma is asking for trouble). the far safer play is to just win by having a more controlled teamfight at their high ground.

Burning was also too close to relic to fight that. he had 3500~ gold stocked up at that point, which is not invested into any items to help fight. Add that together with no rp and no haunt, it's much safer to just farm up the relic and let them have the rosh. Relic is arguably more important at this stage than that aegis anyways

It's a bunch of stats for everyone that was alive when it was killed. Believe it's AP,MR,ARMOUR,HP REGEN,AD something like that at least.

Roshan is arguably a lot less influential then baron.
Baron gives a huge damage and regen boost to the entire team, and combining that with how much damage all heroes on a LoL team tend to do, (mid top ad and often jungle generally have relatively high damage potential) it can often let you win fights you really shouldn't have.
Compare that to dota, where all you get is a single use guardian angel (with a 5s delay on the respawn) and while it can be big, often if the carry is holding the aegis and dies, all his supports can die before he respawns and then he just gets exploded.
Combined with how many heroes are very cooldown limited in dota, (many heroes rely on abilities with 30s+ ulties/skills to be effective) and this Guardian angel isn't even that useful on a lot of heroes.
It gives you an advantage, but it's hardly a situation where you can just start shoving towers and taking fights.

The fault of Ayesee's commentary is that instead of taking the opportunity to enlighten a crowd ignorant about Eastern Dota like Synderen usually does as a student of the game, he had the effect of egging the crowd on as if there were something wrong with the way the game was being played. I'm not defending KotL and PL strategies. I think they are stupidly boring as well, but at least it's a strategy, not waiting for the other team to fuck up.
However there is now action again and I'm entertained(!) so I guess it's all good now.

Basically it increases your Magic and Attack Dmg by a LOT (up to 40) and gives you 3% of your max health and 1% of your max mana as regen per 5 sec. For everyone on your team. It's pretty nuts later on and almost always means losing multiple towers and/or rax.
