Huh? The final game was great but what was so special about the event itself? Definitely not the introduction nor winners cemeronies.

People are hurt that their favourite team lost. They need an outlet to rage on. Hence all the whining.

What made MKP fun is that he was super creative and would do really audacious cheese, macro play, just makes marines. He had a unique playstyle that was really unpredictable and micro that was visibly way ahead of anyone else even to a bronze player.
People hate Alliance because they're boring, Bulldog only picks two heroes in 95% of his games and they almost never do anything out of the ordinary or pick none FOTM heroes. That is really, really boring Dota that no one wants to see. Alliance arent like BitByBit they're like Mvp and there's a good reason Mvp never had the fans that MKP, MMA, DRG, Nestea or MC did.
Whine, whine, whine. Getting split pushed is what HAPPENS if you 5 man. It how you stop them from pushing your base. Its why people don't 5 man right off the bat. Get over it. Alliance won because they are FUCKING GOOD AT DOTA 2.
I'm not whining even a little. Alliance deserved their win but I don't have to like them or the style of Dota they play (not even talking about split push).

There was no game that I found more boring than the fountain hook game. I'd rather see rat Dota than a stupid 1 shot mechanic that you need to hit once out of 10 tries to win the game.
Hit once out 4 times you mean. There has been a game completely relying on fountainhooks between fnatic and keita, and the fountainhook team got roughly 1 out of 10. They lost miserably.

BUT I love that game 5, I love this fuckin grand finals, I love the whole tournament, I love all the storylines and fuckin love DotA!!!
If you don't ban wisp and lose to split push, you don't get to complain. I think that hero is dumb and completely ridiculous in terms of game presence, map control, and giving gobal mobility to the most valuable hero on your team; but if you don't ban it and lose to a strategy centered around what that hero can do, it's your own damn fault. Alliance deserved that win, they played consistent and didn't crack under the pressure like dendi feeding to rosh with 5 treeants right next to him or navi not tping back to base as a team to stop the double rax.
To be fair, they did TP back as a team...three of them in dream coil range of each other.
I still don't know why they TP'd back when they had their entire team there to attack the t4 towers, and half of alliance was splitpushing.
The half of Alliance that was split pushing had two creep waves with them and could be back to their base at a moment's notice. I think S4 just blew up the Na'Vi creep wave, so they would have had to tank the T4s. Tping back is pretty reasonable in my mind, just not in that particular formation.
