Heart should be the 2nd big item, you should go for BKB first. With BKB on you can kill the summons without any problem and the damage of early levels summons aren't unbearable if you distribute it among the members of the team. When the deathpush with multiple Necro 2&3 come, one of the defending team should have Heart and kill the summons, so the BKB users don't have to pop theirs to stop the summons hitting buildings. Even if the damage is significant, the defending side has their towers to offset it. Without the summons to tank and deal damage, the pushing team won't dare to break highground and fight head-on inside the other team's base. The main power of necrobook (in my opinion) is the option to push the highground without putting yourself up there, in a very disadvantageous position.

it's like saying you're going to get dagon on your carry because enemy is getting ghost scepters.

Even if you went straight Heart, a Necro 3 is cheaper, and the pushing lineup should be well ahead of you on gold. Also well microed Necro units should do a minimum of 825 damage to you - nearly nullifying the 1060 hp that the Heart gives you, even if you somehow manage to have enough damage to kill them without taking a single right click. And that's with only a single Necronomicon, where most pushing lineups seem to be perfectly happy going for them on every hero at the moment. Going straight Heart as a counter to a fast Necro 3 push lineup is a laughable idea. :/

I'm surprised you can farm bkb+heart in 20 mins under pressure from necro book pushing. Ignoring the fact that bkb into heart is pretty terrible.

The BKB-bearer and Heart-bearer don't have to be the same player. For example, your Gyro can build BKB and damage item when a position 2 or 3 can rush heart while the other (of the 2 and 3 position who doesn't build heart) can buy some teamfight items such as Mek and Pipe. This way when they push to your tier 3 (highgrouhd) and summon their necro to hit your tower, everyone in your team can stand behind the tower and hit the summons but only the Heart-bearer will last hit the melee one while Gyro saves his BKB just in case the other team rushes in. Now they have 2 choices: leave after feeding your team a ton of necro summons money or initiate on the damaged one, Heart-bearer in this case. If they charge in, your team have BKB-Gyro, high ground advantage, towers, regen advantage and more efficient team-fight items. You should win the combat, especially when they didn't focus your damage dealer or utility.
Initiation is key. You should be able to disengage when they charge in or initate when they retreat. Even if you don't fight, Necrobooks lose their powers when the game goes late and they are left with a number of inefficient items.
One way to ensure farming is to defend with 4 hero when another push their towers. A Furion, Pugna or Leshrac of your own team can take down a tower faster than the enemy does against a 4-man defense team.

Once again we're back to heart rush. BKB+heart+mek+pipe yea good luck getting those under pressure. At this point you're just assuming the defending team has really good cs while barely if dying at all which from what we've seen isn't the case agaisnt necro push.

And even if you do get your bkb/heart up that leaves you in your base, with no map control, leaving opponent team to farm up your jungle...?
