6.79 is degenerating into 5 necrobook-push games...

I am seriously worried about 6.79. Almost every game since the patch release is a 20 minute death push with Necrobooks. I mean HGT got outplayed but I simply am not liking the direction this patch is taking with the game at all.

This is boring as fuck. Make necrobooks, push and win. You can make them early and there really isn't a counter to them until late game when heros are farmed enough to just tank them and kill them. This is even less satisfying to watch then 60min farm fests. Necromonicon better get nerfed in 6.79b.

Give the patch a few months or weeks at least for everything to stabilize. Teams need to come up with counter for necrobook, not not expect the nerf from IF and Valve.

I think you vastly underestimate how much damage the necro units actually do to heroes, they destroy them unless they have a BKB. The Item is not very cost efficient but it doesn't have to be because you will be up in towers.

You can farm multiple Necrobooks at the same time, so why not? Right now you have more passive gold than before so the timing doesn't sound so impossble anymore, and it was possible even when you earned less gold. Furthermore, Necrobook 1 doesn't really justify the cost of it so you can capitalize the timing before they upgrade their necrobooks and win some teamfights, further whatever advantage you can squeeze out prior to the death push.

yes but who the hell goes hearts as first major item first? even centaur and axe goes blink or something. heart does not fit into any hero's item progression at 20 mins mark.
