EE threw this game with his ridiculous choice of Linken instead of BKB. What is he trying to block? Mana Void/Test of Faith/Penitence? Hex/Orchid was not on Liquid at that point. Even if he was afraid of Orchid, BKB/Manta is way superior to Linken. There is absolutely zero reason to go Linken.

Because he went Linken, Speed had no damage to kill AM. So EE had to farm up an additional 5.4k for MKB before they could kill him. By then it was way too late.

Weaver constantly dying because of the random spells thrown. BKB would have allowed him to ignore everything except AM....

I have no idea, when I play him it's always the same, push all lanes like a madman, but after 40 minutes all T2s are still up.

SPG needed to exert more overall pressure. Even if they couldn't keep down the antimage they needed to force his team to make sacrifices for AM farm. Instead liquid was permitted to farm AM as well as ET and Timber and so they had too much utility and damage in the fights. Speed could handle the AM if he was what they had to worry about.
