There is not physically enough space for them to farm both heroes with how the game was. Even if Alliance didn't break base, they did not have enough control over the map to get both SF and Naga farmed to that point.

Ya thats why [A]'s pickoff was such a problem. C9 was in a rough spot because its hard to imagine them not giving up kills for so long vs [A]'s team, but I think that their attempt to gear up 4 cores was their best chance.
