However, enfeeble used to be super shitty cuz you'd put it on a carry lategame and they would just press manta or BKB and keep hitting you for full damage since it purged off enfeeble. So Icefrog made it unpurgeable, and persistant through bkb. buff effects only ever play on units that they actually effect, and illusions aren't created with the buffs or debuffs of their parent hero.

what do you build on him? all 3 games were rather easy so i went wand -> 0treads -> mek -> dagon or wand -> treads -> midas -> dagon. obviously aghs is good on necro when game goes late but rather than that i have no clue what to go. bloodstone? maybe shivas?

Does that apply to stat drain debuffs like Slark, Undying, and Timbersaw? I know the illusions don't get the debuff, but are they created based on current str/agi/int?

Proscene isnt the same as pubs we play but a lot of western pros allways seem to buy treads+blink+bkb on him no matter what the itembuild and teamcomp, so i guess thats core in the western proscene atm. 2 examples from datdota : C9.EE likes : 2rop+treads+rod of atos+blink+bkb+maybe shiva or aghs (feels like a tanky build) TT.QQ likes : treads+midas+dagon+blink+bkb+aghs+refresher (feels like a killing build, less forgiving higher the gains) I think a midas on necro isnt a bad choice because necrophobos doesnt fall off after a certain timing and he gets alot more game impact with more networth. So, if you have the opportunity to start with an early midas (before you finish the treads) then i would certainly go for it no matter what items you buy after.

IMO the best items on Necro are the ones that slow enemies and add tankiness - namely Shiva's, Atos, and Skadi. Necro wins fights by out-sustaining people, and that's what these items do - mitigate enemy DPS, allowing you to tank as much as possible. Blink, BKB, and Aghs are of course great items on him as well. EDIT sry if I'm breaking the rules ![]()

You never scrolled down to the bottom of the site? No... I got to community/general and assume it's all other TL sites past that. In order to make this vaguely relevant I think BKB may not be gotten every game on a hero but that's game dependent, not hero dependent. If your opponents are entirely physical or have nothing besides bkb piercing spells then it would be silly to make one, but Sven/Slardar are going to want one most games.

There's some leeway because most of the non-strategy questions are shit that people can test on their own, which they should be doing, so if we enforced both strictly this thread would get like 1 legit question every 3 months.
