Of the newer dota heros lc could maybe synergize well.

I always tend to go 1-4-1-1, even going 1-4-4-2 and going stats over stun. For three skill points you get 0.3 seconds of stun (and 225 damage) meaning that you surviving the swap offers more to the team than 225 damage. It's definitely flavour and I get situational deserved flak for it - but I trade 225 damage and 0.3 seconds on the stun for 114 HP, ~0.86 Armor and 78 mana. Most of the time, I take that trade.

Pick offs - Q > W > E Small Skirmishes - W = Q > E Teamfights - W > E > Q Pushing - E > W >> Q Jungling + Roshan - W > E >> Q Escape - Q > W = E tl'dr : Q is for ganking, E is for pushing, W is for everything else. @FFGenerations: I think you wanted the QQ thread. However, in case you actually meant the question you asked, KotL and IO are very good at keeping your teammates from 4-manning mid, by dragging them to another lane.

This means that you won't have howl maxed when it is time to rosh if you go stun max first. You also won't have it when 5 man starts. A marginally better stun isn't as good as max howl or aura in mid game scenarios. Midgame 5-mans actually make Missile better than Wave UNLESS VS dies in the swap. People consider the singular effect of each spell, but Missile's CD is so short that unless the fights are burst-damage dependent and end almost immediately when someone gets burst down (which favors Missile anyway because Missile maximizes your burst damage), you will usually get a 2nd Missile in the fight, and possibly a 3rd at the tail end when cleaning up the fight. Wave only starts to pick up with a significant source of physical damage, but if you're not level 9/10 by then, that's a problem. Wave is absolutely the best skill if VS is going to die every fight because the effect duration is so long that it persists long after she dies (aura drops when you die and you can't throw more stuns when you're dead). But personally, I'm, only comfortable playing in such a sacrificial manner in stacks/arranged play. I wouldn't play that way in pubs.

I see most people max Q first but I find that maxing W first is stronger for ganks. Though I suppose maxing Q is better for multicast at level 7.
