What is the 'home row'? Or, where should i rest my fingers when I play? My setup is
Items: customizable mouse buttons x 3, q,t, undefined (can't find one good enough :C) Skills W,E,R,C,V,X
Rest your hand on keyboeard comfortably and only then assign hotkeys to keys under your fingers. There aren't that many to assign so you should be able to easily fit them even with small hands

I personally am too used to legacy hotkeys so I simply use alt-QWEASD for items.

Shouldnt Necrolyte's heartstopper aura go through magic immunitiy? I wanted to do some pro ancient stack jungling yesterday but the rock golems weren't taking any damage.

This has been discussed on the Developer forums http://dev.dota2.com/showthread.php?t=25692
According to that thread, Heartstopper Aura does not work on Ancients in Warcraft 3 (DotA 1) but did in HoN. It is intentional that it does not work in DotA 2.

does anyone know if icefrog is gonna do a balance patch in the future? not to complain but some heroes literally warp the game and make u play around them.

Do the defense vods have commentary if you view them from the in game thing?

Interesting. It works on the medium camp golems who are magic immune so I don't really understand why it doesn't work on the ancients but I guess at least it's intended.

Yes they do, you can select from a number of audio tracks and their accompanying camera veiw.

Yes he is. Your guess is as good as mine for when though. There has already been one released during beta development of Dota 2. It among other things re-made puck since his Phase Shift skill was much better in Dota 2 with auto cast than in DotA and they probably didn't want to bother to program in all the exceptions.

How is the experience from a kill distributed if the killer is far away from the victim (Invoker using Sunstrike etc.)?

The intent is for DotA 2 to remain at parity with DotA 1, so the next balance patch to DotA 2 will come whenever version 6.75 comes out on DotA 1. On the forums, Icefrog confirmed that 6.75 isn't likely to come out until after The International, so don't expect anything at the moment.
That said, don't expect the hero pool to change in such a way that there are less dominant and game-changing heroes. That's the way the game has always been, and part of what makes it fun. Unless there's a radical shift in Icefrog's design paradigm, it's likely to stay that way.

How do I get the sound to play if I have it windowed and looking at something else. The sound only plays if I'm actively on the DotA2 window
Found sound while alt tabbed hiding in the options ^_^

Dota does get balance patches. He does them very well, I've never looked at patch notes and thought 'what the fuck is he thinking'. However as someone else said he probably will refrain from making any changes until TI2 is over to prevent screwing the metagame too much.

Pretty inconsequential but interesting.

Has TA's bug ( deso and meld not stacking ) been fixed yet? Or does anyone know if it's supposed to remain like this.
Also a side question: When will you pick a buriza over a mkb if you need attack dmg? I saw 430's TA going for a buriza as his 1st damage item and i always thought that mkb would be a better choice.
