Dota is popularized by very competitive people who don't take losses well. In SC2 you have nobody but yourself to blame for losses (or your opponent) but in MOBAs there are 4 other 'idiots' who 'fed' the enemy. While there are no childish fart sounds you will still get flamed quite a bit if you are bad. If you can grow to ignore these kinds of players the game becomes much more fun. Also ...I just learned that aghaims scepter now gives meepo a 4th clone. I don't have WC3 anymore but I feel like buying it again for 5 poof ganks.... How does it feel to have 5 friggin meepos? | ||

Yes, the dota community is childish. I hope that dota2 will strongly encourage good behaviour by rewarding it. It's should be easy to track with a simple rating system. Global automute for people with bad behaviour - wouldn't that be awesome? | ||

How does it feel to have 5 friggin meepos? tbh do you even want a 5th meepo? i mean to get scepter after dagger or lorthar with vlad, its already late game and the spell damage lategame is not that much effective.1 slot for scepter is a LOT for a late game carry. vlad tread and dagger already 3 basic slots on meepo. Normally you gona go straight into heart after for the survivability and getting it already cost a tons of time. I guess you might want to have a 5th meepo to port out of the battle but i never think its really worth the time/money. | ||

On ICCup you sometimes see people [muted] where nobody can see what/if they are typing. In Dota 2 I guess it would have to include mute of voice chat. | ||

What I mean are the people that I can't see a single chat row from (not even blank ones), yet I get swap dialogues from. They also have [muted] after their name in lobby. I also didn't see the dialogue for when he did a repick. Not a blank row, nothing. | ||
