sure nobody is there to lock down storm spirit, even the hex got purged off. However storm doesn't deal enough damage and it doesn't matter if you don't kill him. You secure a lead so strong the supports can afford glimmer capes and snowball saving people so that really a storm is just annoying more than deadly. the AA + Prophet combo is a classic one. Ice vortex is basically free veil of discord, then combined with AA + prophet double ult does so much work early game

But seriously props to liquid for beating EG in that winners semi. True EG looked like a horse with a broken leg, but boy did Liquid remember to bring their rifles; simply put EG got turned from the boys in blue to a bucket of glue. Lets hope this continues `liquidfighting!

Great analyst but he only casts the team he likes and analyses their point of view. That is not acceptable on a professional level. People got fired for far smaller issues. Even if you never watched dota and dont know who Blitz likes you can find out in just 10 minutes. I was really frustrated the way he casted the major finals... so obvious he didnt like Liquid, i was expecting him to say "YES Liquid lost woo hoo". So until he starts acting like a professional and realizes that people want to hear both perspectives in every math, Blitz should stick to panels, not a good casting partner.

He didn't like Liquid in Shanghai? He coached them prior to Shanghai, he was heavily rooting for them

He coached them prior to Shanghai iirc, he was heavily rooting for them yeah he was Liquid's coach prior to Bulba/Shanghai, hence my statement that I thought he really likes Liquid and is trying to not be that fanboy caster and just pushes too far the other way. Also like someone else mentioned, EG was clearly faaaaar behind in both games. Casters just don't want to be that "yeah this is over" guy, so instead he's "you know, not all is lost. If EG gets a good engagement they can pull through!" which has nothing to do with the teams but just the positions they're in. Now I can't say wether Blitz really likes EG so much more but Blitz is easily one of the top Liquid fanboys out there
