Did you guys watch Secret vs VG? Man that series was awesome, showing the capabilities of 2 top teams, both Paparazi and Ace showed what they're capable of, and Secret's late game is absolutely mindboggling, did not just 1, but TWO 15k gold deficit comebacks in the same series, shit that only Liquid, TI6 Wings and Prime EG could do. Also shows that Secret relies heavily on their momentum, if you give Secret some breathing room or even a bit of hope, they would pounce on it like their lives were hanging on it.

Idk. Somehow after ACE and FATA joined Secret I felt that the Team will be a scary one. And look at them. They've played every Pro Circuit tournament and are playing rly hot a.k.a. out of their minds. I hope my Liquid don't lose their rhythm and will still own in 2018 Let's go Liquid!

Yup, fata and ace were the best player transfers of the season by far. Impressive how much those two changed the team. And of course I am happy for my boi fata, he is such a great offlaner already. Really similar to what s4 achieved in a pretty short time.
But nevertheless, hope our liquid boys show up strong in genting!

They might be doing this on purpose.
I mean generally it almost always seems like the teams playing more seem to be doing much better.
Kuro possibly thought they can't be playing non-stop until TI without burning out hard.
So better to play some less at the start of the year - and start blasting every possible game 5-6 months before TI and not stop playing and improving.
at least I hope that's it....

that's a really good strategy I'd say
Even though we're basically sacrificing a ton of points etc. it's a big handicap when you don't play comp. games and your opponents do

Liquid will play loads of lans in the next few months. It'll be constant practice and traveling so taking a month off from traveling seems somewhat smart and they can afford it. The points they lose from skipping a few minors seem pretty insignificant considering how many majors there are still.

They're still second place in points  , it will be interesting to see their form now. Probably a bit behind some other teams now, but likely they can be the best again in a few months.
