Seeing these two games I would say no. It's not just his plays, he didn't get sleight of fist until like 20min in second game and it cost them atleast 3 fights because he needs to get close to chain. And he lose 50% hp until he can get close. Or he uses remnant to dive in(becuz no fist to chain) and then he is left with no remnant or no mana and can't run away and dies. Supports try to save him and ofc its too late and then they die too. Monkey has 13 kills now and 10 of them due to EE misplaying.
There is no fate, but what we make.

They've done well with Ember as a team with EE personally doing very well more often than not. In that game specifically the first time he went forward it resulted in 2 kills for his team that wouldn't have happened otherwise though he died himself. If I'm not mistaken there was one time definitely where he committed too much into the fight and they didn't get anything out of it near their t2 top in the jungle but I can't exactly recall the situation. Other than that I can't recall where he committed poorly and died, most of his deaths were MB catching him out, often with very good gank execution. And also of course there was the rosh play.

1st game he played Ember very well applying constant lane pressure and placing remnants well to maximize farming efficiency all the time. Though that said one could say it wasn't the most difficult Ember game because MB didn't have as much instant lockdown for him. Of course there was that base dive moment but that was hardly related to playing Ember specifically but just some sort of a brainfart.

For the last series vs EG, I have to give MVP award to Puppey. His chen and disruptor won Secret the games from the overall advantage he gave his team.

it was a team effort. Misery played really well. EE sacrificed himself on almost all games and still played pretty well and PLD did PLD things

Like Puppey on Chen won Secret the early game super hard and set his team up for victory. And his disruptor punished EG hard, sure his team needed to be on point and they were but for me it's always more impressive to see the supports make the huge plays.

i'd give MVP to Puppey but the real MVP is how they played like a TEAM.

Relentless and coordinated choking the enemy team out of the game

I guess it takes only one Puppey to break the EE-curse.

Any video of their victory reactions/post game interview? Didn't see the match and the VOD's are all just replays from what I can see.

whoo we did it :D

I really really like this iteration of secret, good balance between new talent, experience and crazy drafts. It's like the team that C9 always aspired to be.

I wonder how much Puppey would be worth if he cared about transfering to organisations like chinese players do. He's probably the most accomplished player in Dota history and still stays at the very top after so many years in an ever-changing game.

I'd give my left testicle to play in a team captained by him, even if it was just in a pub.

NFUA or Twitch Dota 2 VODs might have it.
