And Loda is perfoming really well! (Sadly he did that play at Rosh Pit against VG, but shit happens)

Now that TT seem to be somewhat getting their shit together in terms of drafts and strategy, the major glaring weakness that remains is their support play. EGM has performed below his standards on Alliance, and Bulba just looks completely lost most games on support. Whether they choose to address this by swapping out a player or adjusting roles (Sing support? Seems to be working out decently so far) or just getting their existing supports more experience, I think they'll be fine as a team once they do. Maybe not top 3 TI5, but a team that can actually be a contender for tournament wins. The thing is that with the amount of star players in their lineup, they should be more than just contenders for tournaments. lol

I think it's time to accept that reality. As much as I would love for TT to sweep every tournament that exists, it's just not something that seems likely with their lineup. I've adjusted my expectations. I'll be content for them to not be terrible.

EGM's the only player that's been on a team that dominated the scene, and that was in 2013 with Alliance. SingSing with C9 was good, but their team was never the favourites going into tournaments. And C9's actually been a lot more consistent against much more international competition since he left (though I wouldn't automatically say the two are directly connected). But sure, I'll accept calling him a star player at some points in his career. Bulba, Pajkatt and Qoqjva have basically always been middling players. Basically no real results, even when competition was a lot weaker. I mean, the best you can say about them is that they looked really good in games when they got knocked out of tournaments.

And this happens a lot - weird gank attempts, weak (for this level of play) map awareness etc. They have the potential, but have to work it out. I've adjusted my expectations too, but i secretly hope that they can win a game or two against Vici.

Loda, Sing, Bulldog, Akke and EGM/Misery is a really good and balanced lineup. Doubt we'll ever see it though.

Misery has always impressed me with Alliance, but the stand ins for mid have been meh. Chessie never seemed to live up to potential for me, but with Sing, I could see Alliance breaking out again.

I feel they are exactly on the same level they were in the TI4 series against Vici. They lost because of a stupid decision/drafting, which they still do, not due to gameplay.

But i dont think he will fit in this team, Alliance has a leitmotiv : all swedish players.
