Like with fnatic - they get that new excited kid and the team suddenly seemed to have new energy, new enthusiasm, new impulse. I think the guy replaced should be Funnik - he's just too quiet and doesn't fit the trolls personality wise it seems, even though his skill is stellar. Kuro brought that impulse for sure after TI2 - new language, new guy but that's wore off a bit. Having the same language team would be an advantage again in terms of ease of communication
Funn1k is the new, excited player. He was the superstar of empire, and he was always making bigger players than the rest of Navi.

The thing about Ppy not listening to advices from Goblak is quite revealing. I guess it just kills the point of hiring a coach. It all seems like a battle of egos.
I didn't watch the interview. Is it in english?
Anyway, just because you don't take advice, doesn't mean it isn't helpful or that you won't take it next time. Otherwise, it's not advice, it's an order.

AA is a much much better fit for Navi.
I would not call it a waste. He also got a good amount or spotlight and recognition from what I've seen.
But anyhow, I kind of agree about Ars-Art. If Na'Vi will lose/kick Kuro and Puppey, then I would like to see AA and Goblak as a replacement.
I watched the interview. It was extremely interesting. If you're a Dendi fan or just a fan of dota (why else would you be here? hah), I recommend it.
Unrelated, it would be tough for me if both dendi and puppey weren't on Na`Vi going forward. It was like when Jordan left the bulls. I wasn't really a bulls fan anymore. Sure, I still wanted them to win, but I didn't watch their games.

I have to agree. If something drastic happened, it'll be hard for me to keep cheering them. For me, that's like Na'Vi's legendary CS team missing Zeus and Mark (though he did end up leaving)
I don't know really. I'm trying to understand the crazy that's happening but unless something we all don't know happens, I don't think the team will change too much. I will still be a Na'Vi fan. Even though it was hard as hell when their CS team was struggling hard (when Edward and Mark left, and Ceh9 retired) I kept going. So I'm going to assume that's going to happen with the DotA 2 team. I dont' want it to, but... you know... we'll see.
If I had to pick someone to leave I would pick first Ppy and in second place Xboct. Ppy to get some new fresh ideas, someone open to advices and less thick head. He really gives me that jerk egocentric aura. Xboct just because I feel like he is tired / bored.
Dendi seems always full of commitment and wanting to give his all. Kky gives me the sensation that he wants to do things but someone does not let him. He appears frustrated. And Funn1k is the newest one as someone pointed out.

Nice to see another fan of their CS team. Na'Vi original CS squad is the reason why I'm a fan of this organization.
Lately, I was a fan of several Dota2 teams: Na'Vi, C9, Fnatic; but I don't care about C9 or Fnatic as an organizations or brands. This is what sets Na'Vi apart from them, I would continues to support this team and organization even if there are changes in the lineup or they will struggle for a long period time.
Btw, it's nice to see their CS squad show some good results again.

lol I'm the same way. I followed there original CS team back in 1.6. That carried over when I discovered DotA 2 and them having a DotA 2 team.
Both their old aswell as their new cs squads are amazing imo. But that is because I grew up with source and guardian was incredible there (with .php in reason).
Thinking about our beloved dota squad I have to say that I really don't mind a change. If there won't be any that's cool but should they split I'll just keep supporting all of them. I guess we can agree that keeping dendi makes the most sense (marketing etc) and I feel that the 2nd most valuable player is xboct. Sure most of us thought that he has a spot because of his friendship with zerogravity but too me is the one that embodies the navi spirit "dive you under your tower, kill you, kill your tower". That's the aggressiveness I want to see from navi and who could deliver that better than xboct (if he can motivate himself enough to practice. never heard anything apart from that year old interview in which he said that he does only care for the money).
Does anybody else think that xboct is really important? Most opinions I read were "puppey has the brains. no puppey no navi, kick xboct". (I thought so myself a few weeks and months ago)

I think xboct is important. His play style is perfect for navi. I think the most easily replaceable player is dendi, but it makes little sense to kick him too. Navi doesn't need player changes. Skillwise they are all there. They just need to work hard and stop being complacent.
Puppey has been playing the worst, but in game performance wise its not really his fault skill wise. Its just circumstances such as constantly having a shitty draft, which well ironically is his fault. The problem aside from effort, is simply the draft. Its no longer a navi draft. No longer navi style. They just need to stop following the meta and start being navi again.

But navi was always about synergy and trust into each other when doing seemingly stupid things and I'm not sure that is a given anymore (based on rumours so I might be wrong). I absolutely agree that skill is not the problem but draft and teamwork. And while the first thing might change with a patch the second one could be a result of the many years they worked and played together. Some things aren't made for an eternity and a team of 5 might at one point need fresh blood.

Sigh, do you know who posted that? And do you know what else he posted later:
A whole lot of pro players, casters and other people involved in the scene are trolling by spreading random rumors ATM. That's why we should just wait for official announcements and disregard all the stuff that is flying around nowadays.
Change is probably coming to Na'Vi Prime. Lets not really beat around the bush.
The question is just how drastic the change will be. If Puppey and Kuro really does leave, then the only Captain that can do it is either Dendi or Hvost. I would not like Goblak to rejoin as a member, because his style doesn't fit. He is a good coach, but not as a player anymore.
Lets see what happens.
I'm going to hope at this point that the change will be good for them. Hell, maybe Lost will come back

Cannot even comprehend this
If Dendi leaves, I'm almost done with Na`Vi. He and Puppey make the team for me. They are who I root for.
That said, I think he's right. Xboct is definitely the carry Na`Vi needs and I don't know who else leaving could be as easily replaced as Dendi. I think Dendi would fit on other teams quickly, too.
All that said, I hope the team stays as is and finds their way again.
XBOCT looked like the most useless player in Na'Vi this ti.
And it has been like that for a while. They need to widen up their hero pool and also the lanes because i'm sorry but if you wanna be a top team you can't have people been able to play 1lane to perfection and another 2 at 10% at best.
I like Na'Vi but they need to change something. Their supports also need to be more active and stop with the usual chen/enchantress those heroes fall off so fast of the game unless you have such huge impact early on.

Not recently, before, it was really the case. XBOCT is the only carry who fit the heavy aggression playstyle of Na"Vi. Now, Na'Vi plays to the meta which, quite frankly, they're not the best at.
