Well, they had a few sassy moments before!
The most memorable for me is that Dark Seer wasn't changed in quite some time and then a patch came and there was a hero change to Dark Seer:
"Increased range of Vaccuum by 0"
... so: no change at all

I've been playing some Poe and been enjoying it. It's crazy how little I know of buildmaking but I've been going better and easier into currency making every season.

even if they put out Dota 10 I don't think I'll ever touch a competitive PvP game again. I'm burned for life.

I don't like portals. I feel like one of the reasons the last patch was so snowbally was that as the team with map control it's fairly easy to move almost instantaneously to any point on the map and punish anyone who splits or tries to take f.e. your ancients. With portals I think that's easier than ever, now the farthest points of the map are suddenly connected and that led to DL finals being fairly one-sided games, despite the teams being fairly evenly matched overall.

Obviously there are some aspects where I think they're good, i.e. that they make roaming sups a lot better again, they connect the two Rosh pits so Rosh switching map sides isn't (as) game loosing if you're about to tackle him. But overall this significantly larger map doesn't seem to be significantly harder to control with a bit of practice and that creates the same stompy dynamics the last few patches did.
