Different hero is true though.

Was it the game where ZSMJ Medusa bought a rapier, then died, rebought and bought another one?
|
If you're still talking about the 86 minute game, the morphling killed the melee rax on bot and mid, EG had taken out both range and melee in both mid and bot so it pushed the lane backconstantly towards the Dire. Then it was a series of diving and rebuys by Fear and Misery to take out top lane lol

The problem with morph late game is that he has 350 range. He may be mobile when waveform is up, but when it is down he gets completely lost in a team fight. Thats why I think that skadi is mandatory lategame.

This week we are also increasing the number of invites being sent out. In addition, we’ll be giving the most active Dota 2 players some more copies to gift to friends. This will be done on a regional basis based on available capacity, starting with US West.
Hopefully I'll get extra keys when it's time for Asia, 784 hours and counting dammit :<

Some minor things about Lycan that are relevant:
1) Satyr Shockwave AI is really wonky. I didn't bother trying to space my wolves, and it still never Shockwaved me. I know that I've seen it happen in games before, but the trigger condition doesn't seem to be the same as in DotA 1. 2) Dark Troll Warlord apparently now counts Lycan Wolves dying as having a corpse to Raise Dead on, which is EXTREMELY annoying (particularly since, if you're doing them at level 1, they will often time out before you finish the camp). Because of 1 and 2, I think Big Satyr might actually be the easiest hard camp to do now, not Trolls. 3) Centaur stomp is much harder to dodge than in DotA 1. Either they made the animation not as noticeable, and I'll have to get used to it, or the Centaur stomp has a much shorter animation now. 4) All camps seem to have the "default" targeting AI. Wildkin and Harpies stay on your wolves even if your hero is attacking them. This means you can use clarities on pretty much every camp (other than Centaur and Furbolg because they stomp you), rather than needing to learn which ones you can and can't on. It also means Wildkin camps are much easier for you than before. 5) Auto-attack on is very annoying when doing Centaur camps, because your wolves don't automatically choose to attack the Centaur after they get un-stunned, meaning they re-stealth and you take the camp aggro. 6) Rosh's AI is really weird. He seems to try and split his attacks between your Wolves, meaning they both get to live longer. This makes soloing Rosh EVEN EASIER than it was before with Lycan.

does valve actually ban people who get reported?
|
you'll know if they get banned cos they message you now if they ban somebody that you report I believe
|
I'm getting reported for being a noob lol
|
I played like 5 1v0s with jungle lycan and I got shockwaved 0 times. Broken mechanic?
Also yeah the centaur stomp seems instant. I tried to dodge it multiple times but it just seems immediate. I also noticed the Roshan splitting the attacks really strangely.
Lvl 10 by 11min was pretty normal for me but I don't jungle anywhere near optimally

Hmmm.... can anyone explain this new Hero performance rating thing.... I don't understand it at all after looking at my own. It says the default is 2 bars, but my highest "rated" hero is at 3 bars, even though ive only played him 3 times total(losing 2 of those games), while someone like pudge(who I am 8-1 with) has 0 bars. The performance rating seems really random to me at least. Is it maybe because its only factoring in like my most recent games, or am I just being really retarded?
|
They should never came out with a hero performance rating because it's gonna end up complete bullshit. Whatever statistic you take into account won't be balanced around all heroes and roles, and KDA/GPM don't reflect skill at all. I'm 1-8 on my "best" hero lol. They should just give you raw stats and nothing else.

I'm assuming the rating is based on last-hits gpm, xpm, etc, and it's probably only collected data since the previous patch.
