its just an example and what i mean is to have cheap items ready in the quickbuy slot so you could burn ur money before you die. Its an alternative for rushing to expensive items such as butterfly or rad.
Quick buy overall is a great idea bc you could buy stuff without actually stopping and open the shop menu and use mouse to shop. Its like macroing in BW where you use hotkey instead of mouse click. Much faster and more efficient. It also gives you smthing to do in the down time where you go back to heal or on the way to fountain to lane.

While I think aL's picks were VERY questionable, how can you draft against Na'Vi? You have to either give out Puppey Chen, LightOfHeaven prophet/brood, Dendi invoker, or XBOCT antimage. Or you let them have their veno/venge mid shenanigans, to which apparently no one has found a different answer other than banning yet. It's sort of a "pick your poison" situation, as all of these heroes in the hands of Na'Vi will have a huge effect on the game.
I don't think that VS pick was THAT bad of a pick, tho. They tried to use her like Na'Vi, giving her the lane farm, so you cant really look at her as a support. But then again, I totally don't understand why she rushed agha instead of the aggressive wraithband, forcestaff, manta that XBOCT builds.....
I loved the engagement before creep spawn in the beginning of the second game. It was a weakness that Mealk pointed out in one of the previous aL games, that they will 100% of the time go all 5 heroes to the enemy jungle, even if they have a bad lvl 1 heroes. Seems like Na'Vi noticed it too and took full advantage of it with Sven and THD, both very strong at level one.
Edit: Also, what do you guys think about Na'Vi first-banning Lich every time?? I'm really confused by this.... No other teams are really picking it, and I don;t really see why Na'Vi would mind playing against lich so much.... They usually like to push and gank a lot early game, and against that lich doesn;t do much. Any thoughts?

Hand of Midas is the last item I would get if I'm already behind.
I usually only buy it if I can farm it in 5 minutes or less.

Well i still got it in like 6 mins but we lost our lane in that same time basically to a tri lane

Its funny because aL are completely dominant whenever they play teams other than Na'Vi. However when Na'Vi runs a their complete roster they absolutely crushed the life out of aL. I will say though that aL's second draft was bad compared to Na'Vi's and the first game was aL playing a semi farm oriented lineup with spectre against Na'Vi's push line up. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesnt. In this push meta you rarely see close games, usually its one team completely stomping the other.

dust negates invis... how are you going to use that ms while getting perma stuned on a gank?
get bkb, it gives hp and no spell damage or stun
plus the dps that lothar gives is mediocre.

clinkz and bh are bad picks... why? because you get dust and they are easy target... brood is different and so is sand king

I'm a bit late to the aL vs NaVi discussion, but I must say it was a treat to watch Musica play Tinker. I watched a replay of him using it in a pub, to warm or something, back in Dota 1 a few years ago and it got me really interested in the hero.

what we have here is a classic case of average dota player who had suffer loses from bad players picking carry in pub and lose the game LOLOLOL
ya, same logic apply to im lion, the other side got orchid, im so dead... I could tell you right now if you watch pro streams, they pick carries like BH or clinkz all the time. Why? BC ITS PUB GAME FFS. If you are good enough you could find holes to farm up and carry your whole team. Its not about the heroes but about how you use it and how your team is build around what you choose.
