Of course this isn't a permanent team and is probably exclusively for the MLG tournament but can we read into this at all? MSS and 1437 signing up for this team likely means that they aren't going to be playing for one of the "big 3" NA teams? I wonder. | ||

I actually don't think they'll be exclusively for the MLG tournament. It doesn't make sense for them to play on multiple teams over the course of this MLG season (at least until MLG Columbus). However given that you are allowed up to 7 players for the qualifiers, but have to cut it down to 5 for the actual 8-team league, there might be a chance that at least two of them are just there as stand-ins while the shuffle still continues. | ||

too many rumors flying around surrounding dk. >_> further thought and investigation leads me to believe that the "chuan says he's joining dk and dk wants to get fy and cty" rumor is fake. the reddit account that posted it has only posted that one topic/comment and i have so far found no reference to such news on any news sites that do not point back to the reddit post. if chuan did say so on his stream, i'd expect far more posts on the topic (surely more than one guy caught the news) + a followup link to the stream or a screenshot or something, but nothing atm. combined with farseer's pessimism regarding the restructuring, it sounds as if the user's just spreading a false rumor. also chuan's twitchtv channel only seems to have been used 4 months ago. however, replays.net is reporting with some confidence that according to trustworthy sources, chuan -> dk is basically all but official atm. other news about dk from replays.net basically confirm that dai has left the team as well, leaving only burning remaining from the original roster. another news bite that is of interest is that apparently dk has decided to terminate the contracts for their ex-players, letting them go peacefully without asking for transfer fees (i suspect this means that the players will also not be getting their remaining salary, but this way they are no longer "benched" in the manner that rotk and sylar were complaining about). Hmm if he is in college, then he should have more freedom to do what he wants. He can take a year off easy peazy. Lots of people take a year off from college by traveling, going abroad, etc. Dunno why his parents are up in arms. If it was high school I can understand, but college... | ||

Different parents do different things, and if he was planning on living with them while going pro or they are pitching in towards college they still have some control, no matter what we think of their reasons. Also he might just not have asked because it seems like a forgone conclusion. Again my signature tells all. (the last part) | ||
