He's quite frankly far and away the best carry player available to TL and enormously valuable to them. TheYango dropping the truth... TC is probably the best player on TL/least replaceable.(though I'm not 100% sold on his drafting) He's western "burning" remember haha. To be honest, Korok plays the position that is most easily replaced in NA. As other posters have mentioned, the problem about dropping mike is that there aren't many NA stars who play a very good 5 position support. The poster who listed all those world class 4/5 position players basically showed how the best who play the position are almost all outside of NA.
There's 1437, who might very well be free because of the LGD.int situation.
If Dignitas loses Universe or WTS they are options too.
And yeah, it probably does reflect on how sadly empty the NA dota scene is, but I'm not convinced with Liquid's supports.
e: MSS too how could I forget that guy.
In an alternate universe they pick up Merlini and he gets back into competitive dota...one can dream.

also ^ this is very true.
Anyone who thinks TC is not as good as the other Liquid players probably hasn't followed them very well or hasn't watched games from TC's perspective. He's their most consistently good player.

I really don't think Merlini's ever getting back into competitive. I love the guy and watch his stream, and it seems to me like he would rather just mess around with the game he's played all these years and run his own pet builds than try to be a hotshot playmaker again.

I meant to type this for about 3 times but i keep forgetting this on my phone:
All TL needs is a good drafter that understands everyone well in the team, someone who can lead them, but frankly i dont anyone in TL is able to do so atm. TC is defo the best player among them while I think he is not 'mature' enough yet, his plays generally are very nice but his builds are almost always the same regardless of whatever situations and he often make mistake in the heat.
And probably better supports to go further (no offense to mike but his stream has to be the most depressing stream that i watched, he is extremely resilient and all but skills wise simply is not up there, obviously he is still better than some supports in lesser teams then again good NA supports are very (very) hard to come by). I remember when TL first formed they said they were going to use some strategy by swapping roles, being flexible etc, sounded very good but we only get to see the swap between #1 and #2, I still think that should be the direction for (the new) TL.

The reason they have TC as the drafter at present is because he doesn't make choices without talking to the rest of them. That's the second-best to having a single amazing drafter.

TC is maybe the best Carry in the West in terms of Lane presence and farming abilities..He outcsed an NP and an Alch with a Razor in the LGD.cn game while coming to almost every fight too.
However I too am not 100% sold on his drafting..He comes in with a plan and if their heroes end up getting banned they get severely outdrafted..He even said in his interview that if LGD.cn banned Razor against them he wouldn't know what to do (which is exactly what iG did and made them draft a 1 position OD).

Am I the only one who thought that demon just did that to troll? He fucking picks up a monster can 3 seconds after leaving.

There's a huge probability that some pros will troll people about leaving (i would for sure, just because people enjoy the drama too much) and Demon is one of the most probable trolls, so i kinda agree. I don't think it has anything to do with the monster can, if he has free monsters he isn't banned from drinking them if he leaves his team. Or is he?

The way that FLUFF talked about it, he was also the drafter because he could keep a level head if shit started to go bad int he draft and they needed to make a difficult decision.
EDIT: I'll agree that the draft has appeared weak at some points (in the last two games of the group stage it seemed pretty bad) that could be a result of the schism within the team about play style.

uh hasn't it been known for a long time that DeMoN was going to stop playing competitive dota? I'm sure he said this in an interview a couple of months back, might've been on GG.net I saw/read it (?)

It isn't. It's a general thread for after ti3 pro rooster changes. But I give you good luck for you team, new american teams are always nice.

I'll admit, I don't actually know anything about upcoming possible NA pubstars who aren't considered "part of the scene", and maybe there aren't any, but I get the feeling that in order to be considered as such, you need to get in with the nadota crowd. If that's true, and you consider that every time I visit a thread on those forums it looks like a total cesspool, then it might just be the NA scene doing it to itself.
But hey, I'm just a no skill scrub that needs to shut his fucking nerd mouth because he has no idea what he's talking about, right?

It IS the nadota scene doing it to itself.
There was this whole rally to get your shit together post a few years back, but all it ended up showing was how little NADota cared. About anything.

Doesn't Puppey hate Demon's fucking guts?
While I'd love to see Fear and Puppey back together I don't see that happening. Maybe EG shocks the world and gets him but I'm not holding my breath. Korok is a possibility, maybe Brax and Universe. I'm 99% sure Demon is gone, while I think the removing himself from the team on stream thing is just shit stirring I don't see them keeping him around. He just loves the attention and being emo about shit. The fact is until he does some growing up and takes this shit seriously no team can ever win with him on it. He might get you some stream views, but being a streamer doesn't win you shit.
