Color me impressed. The gameplay with Reaper of Souls patch is actually good so far. I can't believe I'm saying this, but I'm actually inclined to buy the expansion.

Hate to be that guy but Crusader is not pala! In fact, lore wise, the Paladins from D2 and the Crusaders from D3 almost hate each other.

In other news, I lost my HC crusader yesterday due to server lag on EU around 19.00 CET (anyone else?) which sucks. I've lost HC chars before due to me being overconfident or stupid but there's a special feeling when you watch your HP going down while being unable to move and then finally being DC'd and coming back to a ghost.

On the bright side, I've accumulated enough gems to speed things up a tad. Started a new Crusader yesterday and hit lvl 25 in less than an hour.

I use this shield skill with "every enemy hit gives 9 wrath" skill. It's always off CD when I need it Hammerspam of doom. Brings back good memories of Diablo 2 <3

Indeed, it's great. Although pretty funny, that one of the bug caves in Blood Marsh has one of the most epic soundtracks in the whole game

Most efficient in terms of caches. Once you can solo four man normal you can have each person take an act and get four caches in the time it takes to solo one.

Once you can clear torment at a reasonable pace you should be playing it though because the good items don't drop below torment.


Some important items (like the ring that reduces the number of items to complete a set) only drop from caches so you still have to do the boring drill.
You want 20 good men, but you need a bad pussy.

Found a list of legendaries that can drop from bounty bags. If you do not need those legendaries there's no reason to farm bounty bags btw.

Not actually 100% sure that is correct. I have 2 of the items on that List (Coven's Criterion and Salvation) and i'm fairly sure neither came from a cache.

again not 100% but im fairly sure I haven't had a legendary from a chache yet.

There are some legendaries that only drop from caches, but caches can also drop other legendaries as well, for example I got a Blackthorne's the other day from one.

stuff like +%fire damage from skills should increase damage when you use skills of the corresponding elements right? getting some +%fire skill damage on my barb, I didnt see any significant increase from my HotA-smash/cleave-reaping swing/avalanche-volcano damage compared to before. Just wanted to confirm before I stack more.

I saw an increase in my numbers directly when I started to stack fire damage on my barb. might be that you have to little to notice yet but it should work

i THINK my friend had a cloak of deception drop but i know for sure my criterion came from a cache. i've also gotten (bad) gloves of worship and illusory from cache

Some new hotfixes went out and one of them was "Bounty bags now properly ignore Difficulty setting when opened. You can no longer get Imperial Gems or increased gold by opening them on a higher difficulty."
