Essentially Blizzard is taking everything promised in upcoming patches (and missing features from initial D3 launch) and trying to sell it back to you? No, I believe any gameplay changes are going to be patched in the original game for free. At least I read the new loot system will be implemented for free. As I understood it, the loot system was going to be for level 70 gear, and the level cap increase is for the X-Pac. Could be wrong though. They posted screenshots with level 70 gear, but if I remember correctly they said they were planning on making "scaled" legendary items for max level. So while leveling up you might find a puzzle ring that is for level 42, but when you are farming at level 70 it would drop as a level 70 ring with level 70 stats.

That idea seems kinda meh, I'd prefer two different items as opposed to multiple copies of the same item only with different stats. The latter makes itemization seem less compelling, but maybe that's just me.

Their reasoning behind it is that there are some lower level items that have some cool stuff on them (puzzle ring) but are useless at the max level, so they want to let people use that cool stuff no matter what level they would be. Keep in mind, that if they do it that way there are going to be a ridiculous number of legendaries to be farmed.

Just curious and I've tried googling this but, has the economy gotten any better after the gold duping thing a while back? I haven't logged in since literally a year ago and if my gold is even more worthless by the time Reaper of Souls is out I might as well just skip out on it.

From what I can see it is back to what it was before the dupe. Radiant gems are ~20m/each still.

I dont see why people have issues with items that are adjusted at max level.

leorics signet with lvl 70 stats would be nice. =)

but what do we do with the legendaries we want and the character tweaked to just as we like it ..?

like what? the point of it is that you have interesting low level legendaries that are useful for 5 levels then some random rare is better. having those cool affixes at max level seems compelling to me.

They announced everything I expected out of the first one as a paid for expansion. I can't justify paying for this.

^Kinda like SC2?
I guess that's the new way blizzard is gonna do things. Milk through xpacs x)
But seriously, most of the promised stuff will come through the patch.

I'd rather have low level legendaries that are useful for 50 levels. Level-scaled items are a decent patch-job for a bad itemization system, but it still means that everything single item below max level is useless.

From what I understand you don't have to, as they will introduce the gameplay changes for everyone, you only need to buy the xpac if you want the new act and the new class. Question is if you can reach level 70 without the expansion.

And about fixing the AH and skill damage being tied to weapon damage? I'd also like another class.

For some reason I don't see blizzard allowing such a thing.. They want that money.

I was thinking the exact same thing. It feels like they are just dumbing down the game, are stats still going to be random so you might get a legendary with terrible stats but you can now have the option to reroll it right? Anyways, I still dont understand why legendary arent how they were suppose to be in the first place. Still, no PvP? Not that I really care about pvp at this point lol

no paragon cap ? i dont get it so whats the point of having a lvl 20.000 paragon guy ? he 1hit everything and never dies ? O_o
