You stalk your bid then fight with everyone in the last min to be the final bid. I almost always bid on any good item I see and need that has less than 10hrs or so left. I'm 2 for 3 so far on items I've bid for.

I've not had bidding wars quite like that. I did win one last night for a 750ish dps 2h for 84k. I decided on a whim to try out 2h barb, tried it, died lots, stashed the 2h and went back to sword'n'board. Least I only wasted 84k lol. I think if I want to see big damage numbers I'll roll a wd/dh/wiz after I beat inferno on my barb.

Once your group gets into the groove runs only take 15-30M depending on # of champs on the clear. You get around 15-25 rares per run, countless blues and decent legendary/set drop rates. It's also the highest item level tier for drops, same as act 4, but way faster and easier. We ran probably 4-5 hours sat and sun and as a group made 60-70 million, got decent amount of legit upgrades, and 15-20 legendary/set items (most bad rolls though QQ). It's also more 'fun' than zoning in looking for the goblin over and over. One thing though, I wouldn't recommend running with people you don't fully know and/or trust. Part of the success of the runs is that everyone is willing to share and show what they got so that you can give upgrades away. Defeats the purpose if you have stingy friends. I know we found and gave each other upgrades of 5-15M per piece because someone else in the group happened to find. getting that gear takes a shitton amount of farming tho. im sitting at 900 allres, 8% ranged, 18% melee dmg reduction with 9.5k armor,800 loh and still get trashed by act3.

However, don't get stuck into a mindset of 1 tank 1 blah 1 blah, like normal games. We run most 4 mans, with monk and barb both spec/geared to tank. The synergy between monk/barb really make our survivability skyrocket, even in a 4 player game where mobs hit harder. Monk/barb/dh/dh has been our best, most smooth group. edit: oh man my 3000th post, i didn't notice, should have been more.. meaningful! Ultra :D

I have been doing that lately it is a better way to get decent gear for a decent price ![]() I only do it on items that have stupid gaps between bid and buyout or a super low bid no buyout. Like I won an overpriced pair of pants that were posted at 100k bid 1mil buyout. No one was gonna spend 1mil on the pants cause they were that good. So I knew it was safe to bid. Otherwise if the bid and buyout are close you risk someone who's losing the bidding war just saying fuck it and buying it out. Then you wasted all that time for nothing.

Should I focus on improving parts of my arm, upgrade my weapon, or something else entirely? bout 10k-14k more hp would do you wonders. Also about 4k more armor. This would be for act 1.

Ultra :D estimate of stats: 850 allres(50 more on phys) 50k life almost 8 % missile dmg reduction almost 19% melee dmg reduction ~8k armor 800loh (add ~75 all res and 1.7k armor when with shield) and even white mobs are damn dangerous for me. be it soulrippers or those demons that knockback which each hit for 8k or the stupid hellflyers which hit for 10-13k.or the siegeguy wont even talk about elite groups. even with some monk protection those hits only get harder and i just dont get how i should shave off additional 50% of the incoming dmg to make it somewhat doable. kinda tired of barb at this point. inferno fresh was a hard wall. then act2 was another wall of death. now that i finally can easily beat act2 act3 is even more ridiculous then anything before because the mobs with their blinkstrike, ranged instadeath zone or permaknockback just make it more stupid. it just doesnt get much higher then 45-70 allres on evryslot (minus string and maras, both have just ~20). and the stuff that would actually be an upgrade for me at this point cost 5-10m each which doesnt come easy when youre stuck on solo farming goblins most of the time. maybe ill just wait for the first real patch and hope for better times cause i cant take it anylonger that half blue dh/wd buddies farm 5stack siegebraker while i cant even kill him solo. btw whats the best way to get a sorc from lvl 40 to 60?

Find the items that are horrible and replace them.... Some of the BiS right now are. String of Ears, Stormshield, and Kymbos...(This is when you can get some stuff to sell.) Do Skeleton King runs if you can do that. Get your All Res up and some Life on Hit if possible.

![]() The current build I'm using is here. I am using a 2H weapon. I'll try to explain as best as I can the "unorthodox" skills I am using so before you make suggestions you will understand the choices I made. Frenzy + Smite : I like Sidearm better, but I feel that with the stun I can mitigate damage since the mob is stunned, although I am aware that I get diminished returns on rares and elites. Should I go back using Sidearm ? Seismic Slam : I have always been a huge fan of SS since I got it. I feel it's a good AoE skill and it allows me to do damage from range. Paired with the Relentless passive skill, I can spam slams continuously if under 20% health. Superstition : I always thought this was a top tier passive skill, but from what I saw in the popular builds and streams it seems to not used anymore. As you will see from my gear, my elemental resistance is low, so I would think that it is still a good passive to have in my situation. You can see all my stats and gear here. Remind yourself that I am using Nerves Of Steel as passive during the screenshots. I feel that I have a high amount of HP, Vitality and Strength but my elemental resistance is low. Perhaps too low ? I would like your opinion. Also I am aware that the DPS on my weapon is low, but are the stats on it redeeming enough to not make a priority in gear change ? The last 2 pictures are 2 pieces that have elemental resistance. Do you think they are better then what I currently have ? What do you think I should change first given my current gold budget ? Any tips are welcome ! Thanks !
