Personally I'd have a hard time justifying paying the money for only a 13% block Ivory Tower, unless the rest of the stat rolls were really good. hmm. yeah, thats what i'm thinking aswell. jsut venting frustration maybe, looking for help. ivory tower was a drop for my WD friend, he is letting me use it till i manage to get something better. the stats on it are not bad but not great either. block is obviously dreadful considering. been looking at getting a shield with super high block/high res, but just dont have the gold at hte moment. gonna take a break and maybe level up an alt for a while, and continue prowling AH. most frustrating part is that i don't know really where to farm for gear, as butch doesn't feel as if he is going to give me better items. cheers for the response! | ||

I use my pants and shield as a sort of life stacker, once you get to about 70% res the diminishing returns is ridiculous so what I did was drop my res from 900+ to all 700 roughly (70% all res) by using my pants and shield, in return I got pants with about 300 vit (when socketed) and a blue shield with 24% block 14% life (cost me about 100k for this shield). Works good for me. But I suppose this is only viable if you have enough res on your other pieces. On June 01 2012 21:58 yammingtons wrote: just posting a pic with some updated gear.. haven't really gotten any feedback as yet. i'm still struggling on A2 trash, and have no hope on elites. any pointers in what i am lacking?? besides gold If you can get up to about 50k life, 700 res and about 2-3k more damage you'll sail through act 2 very easily. also getting up to 20%+ block would help alot. lastly, an easy way to gain some DPS is getting some attack speed, but make sure if doing this and all the things above you aren't sacrificing any vital stats you want to keep gaining stats without losing others which is quite easy when you have so many potential upgrades at that stage in the game. | ||

I found mine but have been searching AH daily for a nice LoH weapon. | ||

If I pop WotB, and then pop Earthquake after, does the Earthquake damage get doubled by WotB? | ||

I can take the trash mobs up to the siegekeeper mission in which even white monsters start become a serious threat let alone the champion packs / rares which are totally out of my reach. Here's my stats: + Show Spoiler + Any suggestion? Is anyone able to sistematically farm act 3 and has got stats similar to mine? | ||
