Personally I avoid them entirely. I'm sure they're possible but it's not worth it in almost every case.

if you have 100k DPS and deccent HP (40k?) resist you can just turn on archon and kill them :-/ Elites MELTED in the 140k DPS archon video... I am currenty 40k+ dps and they still die pretty quick.

so i did a lot of Warden/Butcher and Kulle runs, traded in the AH and improved my EQ quite a bit^^
Self plug once again, maybe this'll help!
Hey, your stats are very similar to mine. I had a question - did you solo through Act 2 to Belial or did you exploit the hell->inferno glitch to get to him?
I'm typically Ok in act 2 solo, but rare packs can be extremely difficult. My stats are almost indentical, but I have a little more resist.
Interesting that you don't use a signature spell too.
i went through act2 solo without companion and my stat were way lower than what he has in the video (was around 15k HP bc of the nerf). My best advice is be active with your kiting. Treat it like sc2 master league splitting marines vs baneling... Seeker + venom(arcane dynamo buff) + blizzard kill everything until beliah and everytime you run out of space just pop diamond skin and turn around. There are few special cases like invul minions that you should try to dodge but the rest are pretty damn easy if you kite stuff properly.
Hmm. I'm pretty good at kiting things and use seeker / hydra as well. Seems like any ranged would 1 shot you with 15k HP. I get 1 shot often with 32k hp..
most range attack are dodge able in act2... melee is impossible to dodge due to sever delay/mechanic but range are majority dodgeable. I went through the game slowly without power leveling so i understand 90% of how mobs attack works and you should too if you are playing a range class. The only range attack i fail to dodge is some of the charge-based that you could find in act3, they cast it off screen so the moment you see them charge into you you are already dead.
just curious which part of act 2 are you in?
I'm just in Act 2 periodically farming the naga dude outside the aquaducts. I've had to clear my way there a few times and normally it's fine, but some rares can make it impossible or death ridden hard.
I understand dodge and ranged vs melee attacks... lol. How are you dodging so many attacks unless you're stacking dex or something? My dodge rate is like 10%. I assume you get 1 shot even with force armor, so you must be very crafty.
Unless you are referring to manually dodging ranged attacks, which I do as well. Problem is that you aren't going to be able to dodge everything and any latency is going to make it exponentially more difficult.

I haven't got to Act 3 Inferno with my Wizard yet, but on my DH I decided the only way was to run past them. It doesn't matter what affixes they have, because of their health they are basically impossible.

No you can't. They have that ranged tongue attack thing and will 1 shot you without godly hp/resist/force armor/etc.
You might be able to kill them, but they attack from far away with almost 0 travel time on the "projectile". Problem with archon is there is no defensive abilities. They get within range or shoot at you and you're dead. I've played using archon with ~65k dps and yeah, it's not 128k dps, but all it takes is 1 hit from these guys (Which are fast as hell without even having the fast trait) and you're dead.

I tried archon like once and I just died... Seems like you need life on hit because of the low survivability but I don't want to invest in another set of "cheese" gear because it might get nerfed.

I beat them in the keep once but I got good affixes. They had walling so I let them wall themselves off at the doorways and threw arcane orbs at them. Wouldn't work in the later parts of act 3 though where there's no doorways

left and resumed level 2 3x lol, occasionally I was able to wormhole TP myself to a location out of the ''path'' to the next level and die there, and wallers are fun there, can just Hydra/AO them down(AO hits ''through'' the wall as theyl be standing next to it for aoe damage''.

I've had a lot of success clearing stuff like this by creeping my venom hydra slowly up and waiting for it to fire once and moving it back and oftentimes I can draw out just 1 elite. Then for soul lashers make sure you strategically use diamond skin and hope the stupid templar takes a hit for you and it can work.

Yeah that fight is stupid. I tried playing straight up and nuking him and got him to like 30% on the best try but I ended up going with the ancient guardian cheese and it works fine. If you have runspeed on boots you don't need to take storm armor so I used crystal shell in case he spawned adds (which he won't if you do it perfectly but I would mess up once usually).
Also to get down below 30% health get a succubus alone and eat some of those ranged attacks on purpose.

or just take off all your armor, leave game, resume game and put them back on. make sure not to put on life regen gear
Lashers seem to be somewhat reluctant to chase the player, you can often separate the elite packs by running away, or skip them without dying by running in a loop/teleporting.

In some situations you have to leave and join again, sometimes you can aggro them then run to part of the map you don't need to go through and when they kill you they will stay there.

Don't be a sissy and cheese him
Personally I just brought Frost Nova and froze him every time he started casting his teleport, which meant I had to constantly kite near him (but stay out of range of his normal melee attack) while killing Soul Rippers. It was actually pretty fun.
