But yes, people will spend a lot of money on an item, that hammer though might be hard to sell not only because it's not as good as weapons that are going for under 5 mil, but because people look for high dps weapons first then compare the bonuses on the highest ones ... that hammer has a great bonus but it's so far down the dps list who knows if anyone will see it.

+ HOLY SHIT BALL... Life steal + Life on hit +Archon = OWNAGE. I am currently at 21k HP, Act3 with 3% life steal and 500HP life on hit, The Archon AOE attack on a good chunks of mobs (often find in act3) Give you enough regen that you can survive most thing (not elite champ though). + Most people should have known this by now but its pretty new to me: Archon start cooldown the moment you cast it. This mean that even if your archon is up, the cooldown is still running in the background. This mean that if you choose the right time to enable archon, you could keep it almost half of the duration. If you watched the 128k dps Archon video, it simply means that you could spam archon non-stop as long as there are mobs to kill. +Crit Mass: Turns out the CHANCE of you getting 1 sec CD is pretty slim. I am currently running a light crit set(18.5 crit chance atm) with living lighting, i think my Archon CD is shorten every 20 crit i get or so which is pretty slim. Overall i think with my current set Evocation seems to be a better choice but i wouldnt be surprised if somebody with 25-30% crit rate pull it off. The main problem is to survive WHILE proc crits. In my current method, Arcane orb works out well bc for every target of the splash, there is a chance to proc crit (meaning that the orb doesnt carry the crit but the crit proc at the damage caculation part) With Flux, you could kite stuff around with AO for a while. The 2nd problem is what if you are only facing 1-2 targets? I am wondering if living lightning is better or Frost Nova with a crit rune is better. +Archon: I am currently questioning the use of the left click skill: it deal less dmg in melee range with small AoE and long animation, why would anyone even use it? The laser beam simply the main source of your dmg while the Keyboard skill is simply a self protection which has 0 casting animation (you can right click and spam 1 at the same time as far as i know). Also, it doesnt seem like the right click is affect by Attack Speed: Its more like a channeling spells dealing DOT to enemy infront of you, I dont think i have ever seen a crit out of this attack either??? Would love if people help me test out this current build: http://us.battle.net/d3/en/calculator/wizard#bcmOSj!YUg!cYcYZa

I would ditch the signature spell and go for a defensive skill, probably teleport. Is critical mass triggering with AO a lot for you though? What about when you are using Archon spells? If I was going to make a build around Archon I would try to keep Archon uptime as high as possible so I would probably take both Critical Mass and Evocation and stack crit. I would probably also take the cooldown reduction rune for Archon as well. All of that combined with whatever kills/CM procs you get you can ideally keep Archon uptime around 50%.

Stats: 27k dps, 2.5k hp, 4k+ armor - 300+ resists. It's just frustrating, not really fun at all. Relying on one build (hydra/blizz) - when blizzard spouts all this crap about variety in viable builds.

Hydra bliz is also not the only viable build - although the style of play is pretty much the same as other builds. Hydra/Orb is the other major option which is played somewhat similar but gives you greater direct firepower at the cost of weaker snaring.

I can run act 1 inferno completely gimped to get 100MF, I got through act 2 solo with difficulty, and act 3 just feels annoying to play. My arcane orbs (tap the source) do about 40-50k a peice when running an AO build, my blizzard hits for a little over 6k when running blizz/hydra, and I feel like this isn't cutting it in act 3, even white enemies can take many arcane orbs before they go down, and I have to kite elites for ages. My stats are somewhere in the ballpark of 32k hp, 32k dps, 220 allres, most of my dps made up of int + magic weapon + glass cannon since I didn't feel attack speed and crit helped my blizz/hydra build. Is my damage simply way too low? I'm not oneshotted, so I feel like my survivability is at least acceptable (I don't expect to be able to survive much more than 2 hits in act 3). I feel like damage is hard to increase since I already have pretty high int on all my gear and I don't feel the direct benefits of attack speed % and crit.

You have to use Wormhole and teleport twice/thrice to avoid that glitch (?), it's how I ended up dealing with it. Everything else is just a matter of time until you've gotten used to it enough to deal with it.
