For some reason after I changed from the original crit build gear to this my damage have halved from 30k dmg, probably partly as a result of glass cannon and magic weapon abscence but also as I try to go for more resistance on reasonably priced gear. But as I can use other spells constantly I do alot more damage than it actually looks like. However, it is very problematic to find a 1 hander with increased crit damage, possibly int, vitality and also life on hit. And additionally it needs to have a low attack speed... it's just very expensive, but it feels intuitively better than any other build out there at the moment as you can adapt it according to the best spells and not be hampered by AP cost. When you start stacking crit gear you realize it just is the most value you can get if you do it correctly. | ||

Idk why or how you can get attack speed somewhere except boots/helm on uniques. If you do it'd be incredibly expensive without sacrificing other important stats. Also, go for crit damage (or attack speed if you need it) rare rings, not crit % after a certain point. Also you can look for a socketed weapon and put a green gem in it. 45% crit damage is better than weapon damage after like.. even just a little crit. | ||

However, realize I was using crit modifiers, not attack speed, and at 1.4 weapon speed on my 1 hander I don't lose any "actual" damage at all that way. | ||
