Saying your life total is high is meaningless without knowing your resists. If you've gotten your life total that high, it's entirely possible that you've over-stacked HP relative to resists. EHP is maximized by balancing the two, as HP/resists scale multiplicatively with one another.

The 33k dps that you say there is drastically influenced by the 3 pieces of attack speed gear that I have, you can actually do it with a lot less. I also have a lot more hp in this vid than the first time I downed him, at only 24k.

teleport AND slow time bubble AND diamond skin AND force armor, you say... well I'll give it a shot. I suppose those skills make up for your relatively low resists and hp. nice job, btw.

It's almost impossible to kite on that fight so I think it makes sense to take all those defensives. I tried firebolts build and it works pretty well, although I thought phase 1 and 2 were still pretty difficulty since I have 33k dps WITH force weapon so getting the adds down fast enough was challenging.

What is the number I should be aiming for my All Resists? I'm just under 90 on them right now but I got 32k HP. I'm on Inferno Act 2.

I'm actually pretty amazed you're able to survive... is all of that from int? I'd say 250-350 is a good range. When i did act 2 I had 300 resists and 27k HP and it was pretty doable. It's all relative to everything else though. Perhaps try checking out an effective health calculator, but if you have that much HP and that little resist each point of resist is probably worth like 10-15 vita.

Eh I have 500~. You should always be aiming to try to get them higher, without sacrificing too much off other stats.
200-300 is a comfortable place to stay though, agreed to above.

Been running about 300-350 to all resists with 24k HP and A2 is doable.

I don't know how well you are doing in A2 Inf, but 90 resist is absolutely nothing. With all reason, everything should oneshot you if you've got like <35-40k hp.
Try to get at least 200, kinda unplayable otherwise.

What type of items should I be looking to buy in the AH to complete A2 Inferno? I've got a decent 2h weapon (1100 dps) but my armor is mainly Int + vit and with little to no resistance.
Should I filter out to All Resistance and Intelligence or should I try to include Vitality as well?
Only have 800K for armor and I have completed up to Maghda in A2.

Quick question, I saw over in the demon hunter thread that cold damage on weapons slows enemies. I'm assuming this doesn't work for us since all of the damage types on our weapons get converted to whatever type of damage the spell normally deals (arcane for AO, physical for blades, etc.) But can someone with a weapon with +cold damage verify this?

Yeah, the items I searched up were either really expensive or low armor/stats. With my current set-up (little resistance) I get around 14K DPS and 30K HP. A couple posts above said 24K HP and 300-350 resistance was sufficient for A2, what's the recommended DPS for A2?

I haven't started Act 2 yet. I'm scared lol. I tried the mountains where the lacuni jumps and wasps. Died instantly.
It's worth mentioning that I'm being a complete noob with item selection. I just focused on INT/VIT on every piece of gear I have. No resistance at all. Now that's why I'm here to ask for advice on items. 
My build is venom hydra/blizzard.

Just to be clear, that mountain pass with the lancui and the wasps is representative of the most difficult aspects of act2. There are plenty of spots later on where there are just dumb zombies or whatever, and these parts are significantly easier. Basically, act 2 hits you in the face with the most difficult aspects (jumping enemies and huge damage) right off the bat.

i think that was me heh. running 21k dps. With glass cannon and force weapon. i only have 722 dps on my weapon not sure how you only have 14k dps with 1100 weapon?
you should be ok if you did the first part, the jumping mobs/wasps are probly the hardest part?

Haha, didn't realize you were the one who posted that. I'm currently not using glass cannon or force weapon. My main attack is AO and I'm not sure Force Weapon affects that.
I just tried both and I get a little shy of 21K DPS.
I guess I'll aim for Int + Resist as my HP is a bit higher than 24K.

Are you sure you have 14K dps with a 1100 dps weapon? That's like, no int at all. I have a 1250 dps weapon and 35k DPS. If your gear has that little int and no resist I feel like something is up with your gear... even without glass cannon and force weapon.

I have a 1250 dps weapon and 35k DPS. If your gear has that little int and no resist you're gearing incorrectly.
1137 Intelligence.
I have 21K DPS now with Glass Cannon and Force Armor.
