Um I quit using this build maybe 2months ago but when I was rocking it. I had 140k dps buffed, my avg dmg was 80k-140k dps usually, my crit dmg was 300k-600k though

My plan is to get to 2,5aps with chantodo wand. Assuming 1,65 wand (which I am buying asap I find nice one on AH), I need 52ias from gear. Right now I am at 42ias gear. In what order should I go for it? Chantodo source with APoC seems to be kinda expensive for me (30M for upgrades right now). Tal Rasha chest+legacy Zunni boots? (I dont like innas pants) Cant figure out any other setup while maintaining my survivability via loh from rings (but I will definitely upgrade those), I even wear low lacuni (rolled quite nice AR and it has native ias, it was selfdrop, so I settled with it).

edit: one more option what to do: change my left ring to same as the second one with loh+ias+cc, that would let me change mempo to storcrow with cc and then i wouldnt need the chantodo source with apoc? (still assuming stated above: TR chest+legacy Zunni boots to push me over the breakpoint)

Wow thats ... awesome. How much int were you at and what was your weapon? I think it has to do with my low-end skorn since i'm at around 2000ish int and paper dps unbuffed is around 70k and I get around 70-8k per pop, i crit highest at 370-390k though.
I know its pretty weak but its all i can afford now

kes, if you only have 20 mill forget about am apoc chants, settle for one with vit and decent damage they are fairly cheap now days. get the apoc from a storm crow its specially good for cm coz of the loh. but with that change you will just breakout even on ias.
if you need more ias and dont want loose defence i would stay away from tals and witchings, they are out of your budget. The easiest way is just with the jewelry, obviously u need ias on that other ring, get a 9 ias one and change ur ammy for a 9 ias one too, with that you will hit the 2.51 breakpoint, once u get ur chants set. Problem though is ur cc, its too low 40% cc is abit too low u need to get it higher aim for at least 45% or settle with using pinpoint and assume the dps loss from shocking aspekt.
u might be able to get all that for under 20 mill but you will have to settle with lower "quality" pieces so they stay cheap.
PS: forgot to mention, the cheapest way to pump that aps is getting an ias chants will. with a 1.78 aps one you would not need to upgrade anything else to get to 2.51 aps. 1.78 x 1.42 = 2.52 aps. that is if you were not after a native cd or socketed one.

I'm currently back from a break and rocking my wizard right now, currently using a meteor build.
I feel kinda weak on any MP level above 2/3, however when I look at my gear i't doesn't look too bad.
Does anyone have some advice for a really really poor wizard? I don't play too often, so I'm always looking for prices around 300-500 K, but some general direction advice would be great!
(I'm using a meteor build; activating diamond skin, popping time warp; using teleport (fracture) in the bubble to tank and then dropping meteors from the High Heavens.)

Thanks for input, i know my jewelry sux, but i dont enjoy browsing AH for finding the best deals  Btw my budget for now is 30M not 20. So:
stormcrow: 4cc 400loh vs 9ias (6M)
chant set: 220avg dmg 9ias orb + xyz wand (10M + ??? i didnt decidet yet if i want to pay extra for socket or cd in weapon)
ring: 9ias 4,5cc some int (3,5M)
amulet: waiting for end of auction for some 9ias 8cc with other nice bonuses (so far its almost free)
Sumarized it would be around 20M without weapon, so i could dump rest in there. After that the worst slot it my eyes would be bracers as that 9ias seems mandatory for me but i have 70int 50fire 78AR 6cc in my stash I think with the rest of my gold I should go for TR chest and get rid of lacuni (it seems i should be able to find chest with decent int/vit and one nice roll from two possibles in like 5M). Am I right?

Tal Rasha's chests are dirt cheap these days. They're only expensive if you need a lot of vit, or AR.

which frankly is the type of tals we cm wizzies need. We need enough ehp so that we dont get killed in the windup phase sorrounded by baddies.

im providing a link to a bnet post where some guy did some testing on the different skills/runes dps output for cm. I wouldnt label the test as absolute, but it can be a nice guideline to have an idea of how different skill combinations work.

btw the dps winner was: diamond shards + bone chill + chain reaction + shocking aspect + wicked wind + Time Warp with the passives, cm + cold bloded + glass cannon.
It was doing over 1 mill dps with around 120k paper dps. on single target, but fatty target (more surface area for twisters to tick), add in more targets and it would be even more.

You can pick up another 5% crit on your gloves for very cheaply. If you want to drop AR on your boots you can pick up about 100 int and vit pretty cheaply also.

First priority: Exchange that wand for a "black" weapon (one that doesn't do elemental damage, only +min/max damage). The way the damage bonus from Triumvirate works, that will be a huge buff to your damage.
After that, the Spirit of Adventure/Wanderlust combo isn't as good as it used to be (MF doesn't matter so much now with paragon levels/MP bonuses, plus 7% MS looks silly now that there's 12% items). I'd get some budget Int Lacunis which, along with your boots, will bring you up to 24% MS, which is good. Then I'd swap the amulet and ring out for something that gives better damage (you can pick up a Tal's amulet without crit for just 3-4 mil, which is a huge damage and HP booster...for the ring, just something with int/cc/cd).

Jewelry is bit outdated. You should try find something with at least 2 of CC/CD/IAS and then Intel and Damage.

@calgar, I'd say look for a nice helm with -Disintegrate cost on it (it'll make it much smoother when Archon is down, and might let you swap out DSrism for Teleport, which will speed up your farming). Also, since you're only at 12% MS, maybe get some cheap Lacunis? IAS should help make up for losing the CC on your current ones, and move speed really is awesome.

First of all what build are you doing? Disintegrate is a terrible main atk, your build is so strange and unorthodox lol
