Your life and resists are too low imo, the resists are a bigger issue than the life.

Pretty easy once I got decent add spawns. On to Diablo :D Really? I just kited him around the circle so he couldn't use charge, his freeze doesn't do that much damage and the adds are handled by diamondskin + focusfire.

Yeah, i was trying that at first, but it just took longer than when I got him stuck on Tyrael, lol, cause he just sits in the puddles of hydra spit ;p He ended up being quite easy, just took me i think 4 or 5 deaths to get the hang of it. Diablo actually went much smoother, lol

For charged blast to be better then seeker, you need to hit more then 6 out of 7 missiles, and i really doubt my quota on diablo was that high, especially considering all that time you just shoot in his vague direction when he is 1.5 screens away doing random shit. I am pretty sure that seeker is better in this fight.

How much does blizzard slow by without rune? Doesn't seem to say? I assume 20%?
I'm also assuming units with blizzard cast on them are 'chilled' so cold blooded can work?

So a few observations...
After my 1 million gear upgrade yesterday, I feel like I'm progressing much faster and better in Act 2. I'm just about to kill Kulle. I was on the Auction House for hours finding good deals. (Or I think they were)
Anyway, I'm killing most elites/champs within 2 minutes (before force armor duration is done for sure). I still die a few times, but not because I can't kill them, but me making a stupid mistake or messed up on cooldowns.
I used to run the Blizz/Hydra/MM build but now changed to AO/Hydra. Here's my build: http://us.battle.net/d3/en/calculator/wizard#cRQXSO!YXU!YbYaZY
My stats aren't exactly good either. - 38k dps - 37k hp - 300 allres
What I feel that made a difference is my attack speed of 1.53, and I still have my 12% movespeed, so my kiting is much better. I have a 2-hand crossbow (just under 1000 raw dps but has +100 int/vit), and honestly I think it's good because when I run out of AP (it happens after 6-7 arcane orb spam) I shoot arrows pretty quickly. Replaces the need of a signature spell. I think when I'm due for another upgrade, I'll have to stick with a crossbow for now, even if it's less DPS than most maces/axes or any 2-hander.
So for other people having a hard time, just take a few hours in the AH, search for the best value for your gold. I think the Wizard is the cheapest class to upgrade on the AH, so take advantage of that while it lasts... Although I think prices will just get cheaper over time too, since more people are selling stuff, more people farming, etc.

Any reason why you swapped from a Blizz/Hydra to AO/Hydra? How did you find it affected your gameplay?
Also what kind of stat prioritisation did you look for on items in the AH?

Seeker > Charged Blast. It takes time to aim (sure fractions of a second but still time), which gives you less time to spam it. I never have the luxury of taking time to aim once i drop my hydra. I drop the hydra or blizzard any mob not being slowed has to die first. If I have to aim at said mob there's an increased chance he will reach me before I kill him = damage I did not need to take. There's a chance you will miss with charged blast, and every single miss is 140% damage you are not doing while with seeker it would be 121% you are doing.
As for bosses, it's really great to just aim in their general direction so you only have to take very brief break from your kiting.

Have you seen how cheap one hand crossbows are for Demonhunter? They are half the price of an equivalent 1 handed weapon for any of the other classes. Wizards are not cheap at all to upgrade. Especially if you want AS, Crit chance, or a really good amount of All Resist

After switching to a higher damage weapon, I felt that I needed to just kill things faster instead of kiting longer with blizzard... so I tried it out. The AO build also allowed me to get an extra spot for a defensive skill.
Priorities on AH is definitely the weapon. With the help of the good experts here, it gave me an idea of what I should be reading. Then I tried to invest on items that had at least 40+ all resist, 100+ Intel and vitality. I achieved that thru sockets and just adding the common +34 gems I pick up. Make sure to have a helm with a socket because adding 12% life gem is awesome. 12% move speed boots is a must.

And also I think Seeker is better than Charged Blast for me, trying to stay as far away as possible and spamming missiles and hitting anyway is pretty good and totally OP imo! And I guess I should get some more resistance from somewhere, thanks!

I am playing with a couple buddies (we are in act 2 inferno, mostly farming the butcher though) and one is a DH with over 60k dps, and I am a wizard with about 24k with glass cannon and force weapon, 22k hp and 190 RA. I am constantly being told my gear is not good even though I have spent ~300k on the AH on it and have farmed as much as they have.
Are my stats really not good?

Hey I'm in the same situation gearwise. Any money saving tips on what to buy? And also general guidelines for judging price?

It's 60% AFAIK. You can test this by using the rune that leaves an AoE snare after the blizzard ends and seeing if they move any slower while in it.

Ye I feel the same. Takes me about 30-45 mins for 6-8 rares usually. This is a horrible ratio, when you see people on stream farming goblin. Im considering doing chest runs, but dunno if thats better. 55k dps wizard here.

Are there goblin runs that give the same loot as act3 chests/Siegebreaker?

Anyone find that if you teleport on P3 belial inferno that for some reason it zooms your camera in and you can't unzoom it?

I have a question, so let's say my 1h+OH and 2H weapons have the same raw damage and i play around with this build, would the 1h weapon be better than the 2h? I basically wonder can you play with a signature spell as the only main dmg spell if you are using a 2H or will that be too slow? I guess it depends on what you are doing, but i mainly asking about for ex Diablo where i find 1H be better when only using MM, for farming i swap out DS for AO and play with my 2H...

Hey,
Yesterday I was trying to switch from Blizz/Hydra/AO to AO/Hydra with tele. It looks really cool build, but i have no idea how to manage slowing enemies. Without blizzard it looks really gimmick to me, even with Temporal Flux.
I don't have any crit% and arcane on crit, also my attack speed is really slow (slowest 2h). Are those stats required for this build to work? Whats your priorities on it? Is it possible to play with it without arcane regen on crit? (as i think main issue is from running out of energy in 3 secounds, and after 2 secound later - everything is rushing at me with normal speed).
Ps: My DPS is around 36k, currently farming act 3 siegebreaker inferno.

When a demon hunter has 3x your dps in the stat screen, he probably has far better gear then you. 24k dps with glass cannon and force weapon is a ridiculously small amount, too.
That being said, from having played with a dh i have come to the conclusion that even at similar displayed damage levels, there is just no way to get even close to the damage they do. They just spam retarded amounts of nether tentacles which do far more damage then an arcane orb, and cost far less of a much easier to replenish resource. Also they penetrate enemies by default.
