I am still trying to beat diablo with a party of 4 persons but it's imposible, im getting killed in the part where the clones appears. HP: 15760 Damage: 5556 | ||

Best drop I've gotten so far is tal rashas chest w/ dex + vit :D have 35k dps w/o sharpshooter, 28k hp, 100 resists. Took devouring arrow + nether w/ nightstalker passive | ||

Afaik, Screaming Skull is one of the less popular elemental arrow runes. Most people are either using Nether Tentacles for the insane dps, or Frozen Arrow if you want the snare. In hell and inferno, lifesteal is significantly reduced, 80% in inferno and I believe 60% in hell, so if you're using shadow power, it will do much more to keep you alive if you use Gloom instead of Blood Moon. Other than those two things, it seems pretty solid, although it does seem a bit odd to have both SS and Shadow Power in there, just because they fill such similar roles as discipline spenders. Just for preference, I prefer sharpshooter to culling the weak as a dps passive, but obviously that's a call that depends a lot on your playstyle, as well as the weapon you're using and its archery bonus. | ||

i have no fucking idea what to do. i feel like gimping my damage for 500+ resists isn't going to help anything. Here is a picture of my IAS build. 271+ resists, 51k hp, 44k dps without sharpshooter. I have a few upgrades sitting in my stash that will put my dps to 50k but the IAS on them are bugged and unusable until blizzard fixes it. (that's a 1232 dps bow with 25% IAS btw) i'm going to try a finding a good 1h / shield & numbing traps i guess... | ||

Sure, mitigating death by one hit helps, but it's better to kill faster than dragging it out. You shouldn't even be hit once in inferno because dH cant tank. At least, in the current version. Having more vit/defence doesn't help much because if you get hit, you're probably dead anyways later on for example fast elites. I have not explored vit/def with resistance yet, so maybe dH has that possible route to tank a couple of shots. I found a lot of resistance base gears in act4 inferno for some reason... maybe blizz is trying to tell me something. But anyways, I found the crossbow most effective. Attack speed limits me to being stationary, more prone to missile/range attacks and less damage. With high damage and slower attack, I can deal a lot of damage but still be able to perform evasive maneuvers. I'm using cluster arrows to get the most damage as possible in a short amount of time. I took up vegeance as a passive so I can shoot 3 cluster arrows in one go. i do almost 250k in 4 secs with sharpshooter and archery. my skills vary from solo to parties but some skills that are staples are vault, smokescreen, rain of vegeance stun. rain of vegeance doesn't cost any hatred and can stun elites. it's free damage. for my primary, i usually go entangling shot or hungering depending on my party. | ||

Just keep trying til you get better at kiting/avoiding damage, because that's really where the key is. | ||

He CLEARED the game (SOLO - Incl elite packs) without a friend's waypoints. He is telling you to learn to kite ELITE MOBS (NOT BOSSES) better, and avoid taking damage. | ||

Of course you take no damage from izual, because any damage means you're dead. That's how the class works, and it just shows that my concept of kiting/avoiding damage rings true. It's not like there's anything different from that on elite packs, and my point is still true. Your gear is good enough to clear almost anything, and 500 resist wont make up for your failure at avoiding things that can be avoided. Funnily enough, the lickers in act 3 is probably the hardest mobs in the entire game. | ||
