Im pretty much oneshot by the adds ![]() Personally I broke down and used a 1h xbow + shield so it took 2 hits to kill me from the snakes. Get to a corner then spray and pray, in the corner you only aggro one side of the room making it easier to deal with. Phase 2 just go SS spam and burn him asap. Phase 3 is just a joke with nether tents

Get the checkpoint for right before Diablo and then take the waypoint previous and kill the NPC that transforms into a purple mob. Use Evasive Fire + Covering Fire to shoot through the teleporting pillar and kite it in circles. Most people skip the Marius spawn because it has a shit ton of health. Illusions. and is ranged. I'm personally farming the demon ambush in Act 3 between the signal fire and raising catapult quest. I've gotten two 1100 and a 1200 dps weapon so far from drops. There's occasionally an elite pack that spawns for an extra challenge and loot. I've also seen a Treasure Imp twice now.

Everything is stacked for bragging purposes, and we can't draw anything useful from it in regards to comparing/gearing ourselves in Inferno. If you want to help, please post your gear and what your numbers look like when you don't feel yourself so hard. Woah alot of people are butthurt about my SS, it's caught off because that's where the word "attributes" cuts off rofl, no duh I'm using sharpshooter. That SS was with my SURVIVABILITY gear, as you'll notice my vit and resists aren't complete crap, it helps alot to not die to weak minions/random fires/etc. That SS was taken just to show that inferno is very easy once you have proper gear. With an emerald slotted bow, dex tal rashas chest, and a 120 dex andariels visage, I can inflate that number to 180k. Crit damage is probably the most important stat for a DH, and if you can balance that with dex/aspeed, you will be very strong. Gloves/ammys/rings can have all 3 of those stats. Example: http://i.imgur.com/gu1Sq.png Helm/Bracer/Gloves/Rings/Ammys can give crit strike percentages. The only way to get attack speed from helms/armor is from legendaries(tal rashas, andariels, mempos). A 3 socket tal rashas armor is probably the best in the game for DH, unless you get a really lucky 90+ dex roll. You can get attack speed on other parts, but since they are lower level legendaries the dex roll is too low to make it worth it. Inna's pants has the glitchy attack speed stat so I would stay away from that, at least for now.

Would be nice if you can show your full gear, very curious to see those monstrous items. Demage doesnt mateer much if you get 1 shotted by a fast mob, inferno is not easy in any way

Anyone have a few good tips on beating him? I use Nether Tentacles, Preperation, Smoke Screen w. the prolonged effect, Guardian Ballista for the 15% dmg reduction. Any recommendations? Or is it just my gear? 26k hp, ~60 all resists edit: got him! Timed my smokescreens to after he ran into the wall, that seems to be the time where he does multichain the most often! - It's quite helpful to know for all classes I think! Just killed him after 30~ deaths. It basically comes down to memorizing his animations to know what he's about to do. When he looks left and right, you know he'll be throwing his grappling scythe~ The multi-chain also has a very specific animation. You need to be very conservative with your discipline usage if you can. Always strive to be at the bottom of the screen if possible because you cannot see what he's up to when he's below. And sometimes you'll be in a bad position, know the butcher is going to throw something at you but SS won't last long enough to get you through a cell of fire, so you die... GL

Purple mobs take a lot of runs before they drop anything decent because they're usually much easier than any Inferno Elite pack. Even the Act 4 Aspects usually drop a lot of crap and I was running that with +100mf wearing hybrid mf/dps gear. If you want quality drops over quantity, you have to run through areas and dungeons and farm Elite packs such as Butcher runs in Act 1, Terminus runs in Act 2, Zoltan Kule runs in Act 2, and the larger bridge areas in Act 3. These are usually much, much harder than simple Purple runs.

The general rule I use is: enough survivability to not get one shot by hard to dodge or unavoidable damage, rest into more damage. So for Act 1, enough to survive the Butcher's arc chain attack. Forgot to add that the best defense the DH has is stacking as much damage and max discipline as you can, and killing things before you run out of discipline.

They're using an ability called Sharpshooter which increases your critical hit chance by 1% every second, but resets when you score a critical hit. As far as I know nobody actually has 100% crit chance, but it's all the same when you're trying to show off your DPS :p.

Don't think 100% crit chance is possible with current modifiers on items; the max modifiers I've seen on the market so far (4.5 for rings, 8 for helms, 8 for quivers, 8 gloves, etc) would only give you 40-50 at most. Might be possible once the game is out longer and people find items with higher modifiers.
