It has been greyed out, only once have I been able to get in, but I couldn't list items and when I tried to purchase something the gold just disappeared from my account without giving me the item. thx for info still down

Those are amazing stats. I've been tryign to approach something like that but I've got only 1700 dex, 54k DPS and 240-280 all resist. Granted I still have to get around to getting a good amulet but ur stats are pretty slick.
Can you post a picture of all your items?

nice. I'm actually pretty close to what you have. the balanced approach actually works pretty well with the DH. sick bow too.

i was lucky with the bow. no way i could actually afford that: http://i.imgur.com/3n12w.png (my bow bought for 150k) i made some gold with my previous bow as well which was ~5k non ss dmg less than my current. bought for 2m sold for 7.5m

THIS IS NOT LIFE STEAL. THIS IS A SERIOUS FUCKING HEAL. I can out heal any damage reflect mob and tank so fucking hard with this skill as long as there are a shit ton of monsters I can even put some barbs to shame. Fire a Ball lightning into a group of 30 mobs and tell me you didnt just heal for 30k. The 65% damage reduction allows me to take a couple hits even from A4 mobs. Thats not saying the 300+ all resist is gonna save me from them tho (that place is inhumane). I cannot solo it, I need a barb friend. BUT, I CAN TAKE A HIT FROM RAKANOTH's TELEPORT HIT. TOP THAT. Smoke - Lingering - Because asshole mobs still like to use vacuum + jail + shitton of arcane orbs in close quarters, not even 1200 all resist barbs can survive it. Better keep a smoke. Preparation - Battle Scar - Most reliable skill I have in my entire arsenal. I run around with 42000 hp so the heal + a pot instantly puts me to max. Night Stalker - I have 45.5% crit rate with Caltrops - This is a must. Archery + Steady Aim - no point saying much about this. So from my point of view, your build sucks ass. From another point of view tho, Ive been getting a lot of shit from koreans/chinese players (love to micro) about how I committed some sacrilege against DH gods for doing so and that I should just go roll a monk. That being said I just go stand in those fire bomb traps in A3 Tower and survive it while they bitch at me more. But really, as much as I love to micro and show off skills (Im a terran player), D3 is supposed to be relaxing. Therefore I get the highest DPS class and go tank with it. My stats is nowhere close to god tier, I cant beat glass cannons in dps and I sure as hell dont have as much resist as you do, yet I can run around A1 like its kindergarten, A2 and not give a fuck, run around A3 and take hits from hordes of skull cleavers (the more the merrier, Ill just heal), that huge dual mace fatty, the earthworm/snake from A3 tower, and even a charge bash or two from those huge A4 winged demons with a mace, and a blow from rakanoth. I did think about using a guardian turret but I really dont have space to fit it. My crit isnt high enough and I really need the caltrops for kiting and for the crit (I only have 6% increase movement speed) So yeah. I dont know how you are fucking up a 700+ all resist DH. Maybe you should go roll a monk I tried this build and don't you think having both SS and Gloom is a bit waste? I mean they both cost the same right?

Its up to you then. For me, there are some situations where SS is a must for me. I do agree its a bit wasteful but then I only have 300+ all resist, and arcane orb + jail in A3 will still kill me really fast even with gloom on, not to mention any aoe with it. A couple bosses will seriously require SS too - Izual for one, Rakanoth for the other, but this is A4 and you can probably swap.
Other than that I always use Gloom in all situations since it allows me to just stand there and take it. SS is really just the "escape skill" for me.

completed A2 on my DH today after finding out the random AR gear I had in my stash (was farming A1 Inferno until I got bored and wanted to see how well I could do A2) was sufficient to progress through A2
DPS is 25.9K / 70.8K. weapon is 972 DPS 2H Xbow w/ 69% crit damage
stats, 330+ all resist, 25K HP, move speed is 19%
beat Belial on my second attempt (had many hours of experience of attempting to beat Belial on my WD pre-1.0.3 solo) after realizing I wasn't using Sharpshooter and started using it
+ Show Spoiler +
using pretty standard 2H Xbow build I think: http://us.battle.net/d3/en/calculator/demon-hunter#aRYXVP!eTY!YaaZcY
tried doing A3. need more DPS. was too much of a chore trying to kill & kite stuff on the first quest.

Hey all. i'm looking for a bit of advice on what gear i should target upgrading first. I've made it through act 1 inferno relatively easily, but act 2 seems to be kicking my ass a bit. just looking for what items should be upgraded first, specific needs, etc. my first thought is my resistances all seem way too low, but not sure the best way to go about pumping those up....also maybe there are other glaring gear upgrades required. any help advice would be appreciated <3

edit - as you can likely tell i was hit kinda hard by the ias nerf and not sure how to recover from that. my rings and amulet were a steal at the time, but now not sure whatb to replace them with.
edit2 - also note my money....i'm super poor. please keep that in mind when suggesting gear upgrades

Once u get better, think about which way to go, tanky or glass cannon. Honestly act 2 is easy when u can reach about 300+ all resist. BTW I think u can't go glass cannon atm cuz your gears are just too bad overall.

I've always adviced people to get the "extra stats" available on item slots. You have crit on helm/bracer/quiver which is good, but I'd definitely want +disc on chest and +move speed on boots if I were you. Move speed makes life so much easier. Other than that, try to incorporate +all res into items without losing too much dps. That goes for primarily shoulder/head/bracer/pants. Just look at AH for upgrades and upgrade what you get the most of for the least money first. Belt/Quiver is already good enough, and neck/ring/gloves are generally more offensively oriented so you'll probably (unless you find something heavily underpriced with all res) focus more on getting higher dex and/or extra dps stats on those slots.
Overall your HP and damage is good I'd say, so I'd get the movespeed/+disc first, then try to get all res without sacrificing too much hp/dmg. But of course dont dont be afraid to lose some of it. Losing 10-30 vit or even dex while getting 50 all res is a very good deal. You should probably look for rings/neck at the same time too in case you find something underpriced which increases your dps by a lot.
Something to think about though is that theres always a chance to find cheap stuff on AH for slots. Even if your main focus is slot A, B or C, if you find an awesome underpriced item for slot D, dont be afraid to buy it.

I've made it through act 1 inferno relatively easily, but act 2 seems to be kicking my ass a bit. just looking for what items should be upgraded first, specific needs, etc. my first thought is my resistances all seem way too low, but not sure the best way to go about pumping those up....also maybe there are other glaring gear upgrades required. any help advice would be appreciated <3 ![[image loading]](http://i.imgur.com/e8tSy.jpg) ![[image loading]](http://i.imgur.com/Phu6A.jpg) edit - as you can likely tell i was hit kinda hard by the ias nerf and not sure how to recover from that. my rings and amulet were a steal at the time, but now not sure whatb to replace them with. edit2 - also note my money....i'm super poor. please keep that in mind when suggesting gear upgrades i suggest getting rings with crit dmg on it for a start. other than that, a weapon upgrade will be great when you have enough gold.
While doing that, imo you should farm act 1 in the mean time. There was a guide at reddit on farming act 1, i forgot the link but it was pretty good. basically it is 1)Port to the northern highlands and go west and see if there is a watchtower, if not, reset 2)Go to festering woods and clear the 2 guaranteed instances, if you meet an elite grp on the way go for it 3)Go to the cemetery and clear the 3 guaranteed dungeons. Just kill 1 elite gorup and move on to the next to save time 4)Go to leoric's manor and there is a guaranteed elite group outside 5)Do butcher run if done right, it should take 40 mins or so, and if you dont die, by vendoring blues etc you can earn like 40-50k each run

I dont see why DH will want All resistance? Guess the natalays chest piece that dropped for me with 65ish all res might be worth something then?

I've been using that "korean" build for awhile now and I love the mobility it offers, but one thing I've noticed is elites/rares have an anti-hack feature in which they move the same speed you do. It is especially noticeable while using tactical advantage, I could be running from a mob with both of us at the same run speed and then if I hit ss or evasive fire the mob speeds up with me.
So I made a few changes, one very recently, but it felt like it is going to work out nicely. The purpose of fan of knives in the build (besides the big hit it offers) is to get away from enemies as well as tactical advantage. I switched from grenadier to +20% damage while 10+ yards away because I felt I needed the extra dps and we are almost always 10+ yards away. I wasn't using fan of knives very often before that, but because of that change I found myself using it even less so I swapped to mark of death for awhile, but just recently switched to caltrops, bait the trap and I swapped tactical advantage passive to archery for another 10 crit chance w/ 1-hand xbow. I use two 1-hand xbows w/ sockets so I can use emeralds in both for added crit bonus, I have something like 310% crit bonus so it is important I do crit so bait the trap and archery helps there. And I find the caltrops serves the same purpose has tactical advantage did. Before if an enemy happened to get too close I'd evasive fire and run away quickly, now instead I run away at a normal speed, but the mob hits the caltrops so they are slowed. This takes care of the anti-hack feature and I am able to put out more dps now.

Glasscannon doesn't work anymore because of the 1.03 changes so you need to build like a semi-tank. Natalyas is worth a fortune btw, especially good rolls on the extra properties, because the 4set bonus is godmode and won't be nerfed.

Can anyone fill me in on how important gaining DPS on your weapon is? Like if I do 30K damage with my 1000 DPS bow, exactly how much does getting a 1200 DPS bow improve me / is it worth it?

Depends on a lot of things - such as what kind of modifiers you have, but one thing you should note is to look at the base damage range rather than the weapon dps. No one here will be able to tell you exact dps increase. You should take a couple mins to plug in stats on one of the many damage calculators around to see the impact.
