Its value will depend largely on personal preference, playstyle, what skills you use, how much damage you do, etc. That said, I'd value it much lower than max disc unless you have 4 pc nats b/c 3 ss in a row is baller. | ||

You want high dex, max attack speed (15 for rares, up to 20 for some legendaries), high crit chance, min +8 disc, unless you have it on cloak already, and finally +% damage to your main damage dealer - usually elemental or hungering arrow. Socket, vit, chance to proc a disable, etc are bonuses. | ||

I'm currently at 43k DPS without Sharpshooter. Smokescreen [Lingering Fog] No brainer Caltrops [Jagged] Amazing to have against enemies you know will be there in advance / MF swapping Fan of Knives [Hail] Anti-Vortex / Teleport, also useful to nuke combo with Cluster against Reflect / invulnerable Prep [Battle Scars] Second Pot, extra disc Evasive [Covering] By far the best AOE hatred generator personally, the leap works great against fast stuff Cluster [Cluster bombs] Main nuke, takes some time to get used to, but awesome once you get it Archery, Tactical, Steady Aim Oh and I have 48 max disc and 18% added movement speed, which gives me a lot more leeway and allows me to slowly buy time for cluster hatred / fans cooldown against invulnerables / reflect damage. | ||

How good / bad is my gear? Do you have like 10kdps? You should be crushing A2. | ||

http://i.imgur.com/5iCzg.jpg.jpg my stats without sharpshooter although I do use it normally. I don't like to go glass cannon so I've been trying to get some res and hp here and there. Skill build for clearing act 4 was http://us.battle.net/d3/en/calculator/demon-hunter#aRgVXZ!TeY!YaYcZc Normally I use fan of knvies instead of impale for farming cos i like the skill but i decided to use impale for bosses/elites. Also i started using smoke screen only just recently and had vault with cd rune instead but invis is probably better cos you can escape frozen etc if you screw up. It still surpises me how well dh can tank with gloom. Of course it's 103 patch but still. | ||
